What prevents Urban Meyer from telling a kid
or his family this statement
"how do you know that your son really has a scholarship offer to LSU?"
What prevents Les from responding, "You know, if we are that bad, then how do you explain signing 28 in 2010?"

lol, Urban is a proven liar and says things much worse than this about LSU. Come on.

usually he doesn't even sign 25 kids
except for the years he has taken commitment from 27, and 27, and 28 out of the last 5.

What prevents other coaches from saying, "How does your son really know that his coach won't bolt for a better gig/NFL job?"
Not that I agree with the original post, but my question to this would by "how come you/your coach isn't getting any looks for better gigs/NFL jobs"?

Anyone who believes opposing coaches won't use this against LSU is fooling themselves.

There's been numerous recruits talk about Urban Myer and his UF staff as dirty recruiters. It's part of it. I feel for the kid, but everything happens for a reason.

Anyone who believes LSU hasn't used this against other schools is fooling themselves as well. We go up against Alabama, Ole Miss, Miss St., Auburn, Texas, Florida, etc for kids every year.
Alabama has signed 29, 27, and 32 kids in the last 3 years.
Ole Piss has signed 25, 37, and 31 kids.
Miss St. has signed 26, 26, 27, 33 the last 4 years.
Auburn signed 32, 28, 29, 30 the last 4.
Texas hasn't gone over since 2002, but Mack Brown was still the coach then, so you can still pose the question when battling him for recruits. If it happened once, it can happen again.
Florida has signed 27 in 3 of the last 5 years.
Some of you idiots need to get out from under the rock you have been living under and wake up and smell the roses. LSU oversigns, as do the majority of schools we go up against. If LSU starts winning 10-11 games a year again, recruits won't give a shite about getting grey-shirted. They are NOT getting cut and thrown to the curb. Grow up and GTFO.

Does somebody want to give me a quick recap of what happened? I'm not reading through 4 pages of shite to find out. I haven't heard of Meyer saying that because half the time you don't know which players truly have an offer. Some kids say they have an offer, but the coaches won't take their commitments at certain times.

What keeps Les from saying the same thing.
You think these coaches ever tell the kids the truth....
eta: nick saban
Everyday on this board there are threads going off about how Saban lies to recruits. Saban has been a college head coach for what 14 or 15 years now. Don't you think if this was something that was happening all the time this would be known in recruiting circles and kids would not be buying his recruiting tactics? Saban must be so good that all these recruits are like battered wifes. Saban fills them full of crap and they somehow think it is their fault and can't help but come anyway.

Just read the OP's post history. I'm amazed that he is so upset about Miles being less than truthful when on one of his posts,he states he has an IQ of 161. That is not only a lie but a damn, stupid lie! He is a pathological LSU basher. Read his posts. Not all of them as it would take a couple of weeks!
