Im bringing Saban up because he does this all the time. Im assuming that Urban would use that against Saban. Its a nonissue obviously since Saban continues to land top class after top class.

I'm not for the bashing of coaches or players on this board. I'm pretty sure I've made that evident, but there is no way to spin this in a positive light. I'm really tired of people trying to do it too. If this kid was never made aware of a greyshirt possibility, there is nothing "slightly raw" about this. I don't like how now he's just a "three star" lineman so it's a little more excusable either. We jerk a not in people's arse around here when they start stargazing and jumping on coaches for taking lower star guys. Now, we're using the low star ranking to defend the decision.

This is the first and last comment I'll make on this situation because people are using it to push their Miles bashing agenda, but I'm not gonna call the situation pretty pink when it's covered in shite brown either.

ETA: SFP, if Urban is having to use some horseshite tactic like this, he's must really be uncomfortable with the status of his program. Nah...I didn't thinks so either.
