Harbaugh plays SEC football whereever he goes

Definitely. If he stays at Stanford long enough, he may toughen-up the west coast teams to the point where they might actually be able to beat the SEC. But I think he'll take an NFL job in the next few years.

ETA: I'm a dumbazz! Harbaugh is not at Stanford anymore.

I need some sleep.

Bill Snyder from a pure X's and O's standpoint. I think he's one of the top 3 coaches in the country. Harbaugh would have been excellent before he left Stanford. My wild card would be someone like Gundy or Holgerson.

Nobody listed Harbaugh because there's a less than zero chance that he'll leave the 49ers to coach in the SEC. Of course, he would rape and pillage the SEC. So would Bill Belichick. Pete Carroll would kill it in the SEC as well. None of them will be coaching in the SEC anytime soon.

I know, I was just throwing him out there as somebody who would have killed it in the SEC. For all the UT pipe dreamers do people think Chucky would be a can't miss, can he recruit worth a frick past the first and second year honeymoon living off of his name.

Actually, they did a feature last year that showed that Corso's selections are more right than wrong

Re Harbaugh: I think he would be kill in the SEC but his personality would Definently rub people the wrong way

Re Holgo: If BMFP couldn't keep his hand out the cookie drawer, Hologo doesn't stand a chance

Re Gruden: Isn't it enough that we have to endure that creepy goofball for MNF, why ruin CFB Saturday with a soulless Ginger on the sideline

Mike Riley would be a nice fit at Kentucky.

If he wouldn't leave the West Coast for Alabama, he's not going to any other SEC school.

Jim Harbaugh is the best coach in all of sports IMO. Wherever he goes he wins and his players will give everything they got for him. He is kind of a douche but if he was my coach I'd love him.

Have you watched missouri this year?

what does that have to do with Peterson?

Boise's issue isn't getting up for one, MAYBE two games a year. They can do that fine. It's having to face the grind week in week out, playing a UGA, UF, SC, LSU, Bama, all in a row without a break. Boise has never had to do that and still don't.

you're completely missing the point. the question is how he would do in the "SEC" as in coaching an SEC team. This isn't how Boise would do, it's how would Peterson do and he would kill it IMO. He's one of the better coaches out there right now.

How Butch Davis has avoided receiving a Show Cause will always remain a mystery to me.

He is supremely gifted with finding talent but he always has to leave town before the NCAA comes so that you don't see on field results. How many 1st round picks did he have at UNC and what do they have to show for it?

That's what I like about Miles. As awful as your fan base has been to him (looking at you Hebert) he has remained loyal to the school.

The only reason he is not at Michigan right now is because they would not wait until after the LSU bowl game to announce him as coach. After the 2010 season no one would have blamed him for telling LSU to kick rocks but he showed loyalty and class which is rare these days

There's that segment. The historical precedent for getting a coach with a winning 80-85% average 3 times in a row is zero I think. They're missing out and there's no getting back lost time.
