I feel like we need to start living up to the hype we've received in the past to justify the level of hype we're receiving this year. We could go anywhere from 7-5 - 10-2 this year, and I wouldn't be shocked.

You're a smart guy, I wouldn't take the ban bet even for 10 wins, let alone 8. Now if I was you, and of course I'm not, a sure fire win on a ban bet would be for Kentucky not winning 8 games...just sayin'

For the record, nobody is making money by specifically predicting MS St.'s record. Predictions by media outlets are part of their product that generates their revenues. Phil Steele is a prime example. He knows people will BUY his magazine, regardless if his predictions are right on a year to year basis. He'll stop making predictions when people stop buying his magazine.

There's a bid difference in a prediction and being confident in a result. I predicted 10. I'm confident in 8. 9 is likely. With health and a little luck we'll get to 10. Don't y'all have a cousin to impregnate tonight or something?

Well at the time, knocked off 3 straight top 10 teams in 3 consecutive weeks, which has never been done before in the league. Catapulted State to #1 for 5 weeks.

And honestly I don't know and don't care. They were put up into the top 10, I guess losing to State derailed their season. Who knows.

Yeah only game I feel that is less than 50/50 chance is @ Bama but I do feel this team will be plenty confident going to TTown this year.
