Officials are human and they mess up as well.
No officials call ever eliminated 150 plays where both teams could have executed better.
Imperfect officiating is part of an imperfect game played by imperfect players and coached by imperfect coaches.
Okay, yeah, but there is no excuse for humans acting likes dumbasses, which there are plenty of examples in this thread of calls that chimps could have made correctly, but were fricked up by refs.

^^Agree. It has always been imperfect. That is why you try to execute every play so one call won't kill you.
Life is unfair.
Coaches and players must focus on planning and execution. Bad officiating will always be part of most games.
Even golf screws up the rules. Tiger took a drop at TPC that was hilarious. Hit his drive right over the ladies tee. Carried maybe 75 yards of land. He walked all the way up the fairway and dropped at about 280.

While UA has easily been on the receiving end of bad calls more than anyone in the SEC, this ranks up there as the worst....

can't think of anything that's even close ...

The worst call I remember kept State from being bowl eligible in Mullen's first year.
Year: 2009
Game: Mississippi State vs Houston
Tyson Lee was our qb and threw a complete pass inside the 20 for a first down. The ref said he released the ball past the LOS when the video review clearly indicated he did not. Mullen never reviewed it. This most likely kept us from winning the game which would have given us 6 wins had the remaining season played out the way it did. This cost us a bowl game in 2009.
Honorable mention:
Same game, same game..officials tried to give Houston a 5th down on a series in the first half. True story

What is the worst call ever that went against your team?
the entire 2009 Florida game
When the entire officiating crew is suspended after the game....you mighta got screwed.
Fact. It happened. Blatant. Had to protect Timmy.

Y'all should really let that go, it's not like it derailed some sort of dream season.

A&M leading Texas 25-24. Under 2 minutes. Texas has the ball, then...
Personal Foul. 1st down at the spot of the foul. David Pollack said it best, "Why? WHY???"

06 LSU vs Aub
I don't know if it's the worst call/no-call ever, but this is the one I remember most.

Surely you think the personal foul this year cost you the Bama game and would rank as a worse call than a call that would have merely given your team the ball with another chance to go 3 and out.
Really? Stopping a team all half doesn't mean you will stop them the last drive. See 2014 lsu vs bama
