I would like to see one of the P4s give an HBCU a chance. The PR alone would be worth it. Which HBCU would you offer?
Hell I don’t know I downvoted myself for the suggestion

Georgia would literally shite their pants of national TV if Georgia Tech was brought in.

So UVA and UNC huh?
More like Geogia Tech and Tulane to come back to the SEC.

Tulane - Yes
Georgia Tech - Never
Georgia Tech - Never

Not Cincinnati.
Cincinnati will never leave the Big 12 and I am fine with that. The Big 12 is easily the #3 conference and will always have a seat at the table which is all anyone can ask for.
That is hilarious. The Big xii is an absolute shite conference. The ACC is way, way better. It’s not even debatable.

The SEC wants these two and the feeling is mutual.

In the end it is all about what Texas AD wants.
He just imploded a two team conference with some MAC level teams thrown in for window dressing that you fricktards designed and built to fit your needs. If Texas were a home builder, it would be D.R. Horton.

What is the SEC looking for in expansion?

If North Carolina wants in...you absolutely take them. Above anyone else available, including Florida State and Clemson.

Y'all aren't in weak conferences anymore, toto. You can put that "Texas runs the (insert conference) out to pasture.

Notre Dame is not southeastern or even southern
Anyone who thinks Notre Dame isn’t an automatic take into the SEC or Big Ten is just outright delusional. Everyone loves to hate ND, but they bring what every conference commissioner and TV executive loves - More television viewers.

UNC won't join because as soon as they do, they will actually get placed on probation for cheating.
No Carolina is, by far, the most desirable candidate for SEC expansion if there were to be any.

Those of us who have actually shared a conference with UNC already know what a horrific fit those sumbitches are.
If an NC school is a must, NC State makes far more sense than does UNC, from a cultural perspective. NC State and VaTech are the best fits if NC and VA are desired.

UVA and UNC are not football powers.

NCSux has a weak brand. UNC does not. The powers at the SEC def want UNC way more.

I'm aware of that.
You're still a poor fit.

think the SEC will add 2 more teams over the next 5 years.
Teams in North Carolina and Virginia would be logical choices.
They won't break up rivalries.
So it will be an additional 4 if it goes down like that. UVa & Tech/ UNC & NC State

The ACC has some solid programs who are unhappy with their shite TV contract (40 million a year per team). They think they can do better.
The Big 12 has a worse contract (32 million a year), but most of the teams are happy because they're all fairly crappy programs and/or new to bigger conferences where that seems like a lot of money. They know they can't do any better.
