You're a moron. I'm not talking about just Bama. There is simply no argument for leaving all 3 three-loss SEC teams out of the playoff.

I get that you're emotional because this is the first time that you've experienced not getting your way but the committee isn't actually putting the best teams in all the time.

Again, this is no different from when 2020 A&M was left out in favor of Notre Dame. And multiple other instances.

USC is in the playoff with a bye week most likely if they play in the ACC.

Also true for shitty conferences.

Remove the SEC from the equation. Miami has a better resume than SMU. SmUs best credential is a 3 point loss to a 3 loss team.

They should honestly be the most pissed. They're a better team than Clemson and SMU

It's silly. But, I bet auto-bids end this year

Texas hasn’t beaten a single ranked team so stop crying.

I swear idk why y’all don’t just break off and have your own separate super football championship amongst your conference brethren and forget about every non SEC school.

Teams like Georgia Tech could never go on the road and compete in the SEC. Oh wait…

Nope I think we are stuck with this shitty format next year minimum due to contracts.

Sankey should be fired for what he has done over the past 5 years. Adds more strength to the conference and then votes in favor of a format that punishes the conference for strength.

To be fair, if they applied the logic they espoused. Smu should have been behind Bama and Miami trying to play their way in.

Miami had a bigger gripe than Bama. Can't lose to Vandy and lose by 21 when you are the 21 pt favorite. Not a lot of room for Bama to argue.

I don’t know. You should leave. Since you’ve never won anything of significance.

SMU’s best credential is being 1 of 2 teams in the nation to go 8-0 in the regular season in a P4 league. While also scheduling P4 teams OOC and going 1-1 in those two games.

Clemson and SMU played for the ACC title…the same ACC that Miami is a part of.

Then you should request the same be done with Texas in the SEC. They have ended the season with no wins over ranked teams and most of their conference wins coming against the bottom half of the league.

And yall lost to a very up and down LSU team and Kentucky. Thats why you are left out. You did t win the games you should have won just like Bama.

Yeah, we don’t deserve it. And no one but relatives of the team better go to that bowl game.

Well if you didn’t lose to two of the unranked SEC bottom feeders you’d be in.

B10 and SEC are probably going to rework the playoff after this contract is up.

The advantage of playing in the SEC is that you can lose to one of the conference cupcakes like Kentucky, Florida, Vanderbilt, or Oklahoma and still be pretty much guaranteed a spot in the CFP as long as you don't screw up and lose to two of them.

At the end of the day, Alabama wasn't a NC quality team. I have no issue with that. I've known that since we lost to Tennessee.

Even if Alabama makes it in, the format is still terrible and full of a bunch of teams that shouldn't be there.

Take Alabama out of the equation and the arguments don't change though. SoS should mean something.

The good thing about being in the SEC is if you're an upper echelon team in the conference, you have a chance to win it all.

What's the point of being Notre Dame and constantly making the playoff but getting bounced out in the first round?

Sure Alabama got left out this year, but they probably weren't good enough to win it all anyway.

Outside of the fat check we get sent from espn what is the point of playing in the SEC if strength of schedule is meaningless?

The relevant equation remains the same- if you are able to get through the SEC, you have a legit chance of winning the playoffs.

Even Tennessee, who has to go on the road to Ohio State, isn't being written off.
In contrast, 2 of the seeded teams (Boise and Arizona State) are considered toast. The ACC is only given a chance because Clemson has some history, but they're not the same team they had been. SMU is also toast.
Notre Dame and Indiana are in because of record, also toast.

The teams that could win it all are UGA, Texas, Oregon, Ohio State, Penn State, and Tennessee.

SoS isn’t why Bama got beat down by Vandy and Oklahoma. If Bama was a championship caliber team, they wouldn’t have lost those games.
