What is the most important football game this year, SEC and Natty excluded?

For Mizzou?
I think the first conference game against South Carolina will indeed set the tone for the rest of the season.
I'm anticipating that game the most.

Auburn-Alabama winner will probably represent the SEC in the playoff. So that one.

The Mizzou South Carolina thing is mostly shits and gigs. Some posters from both sides take it too seriously.

The Battle of the Ozarks will be the most anticipated.

I agree, it's no biggie. It might be one day, but for now the A&M and UGA games are most important for SCAR this season.
Which SCAR fans take it too seriously BTW? I can honestly say I cannot remember ever seeing a fellow Gamecock fan around here .... lemme think. Nope, nobody comes to mind.
I can, however, understand why it would be a huge game for Mizzou. They play four non-conf games to open the season, then SCAR is their conference opener. They're coming back to the real Columbia plus they are trying to redeem themselves and maybe earn some respect from the one team in the East they've yet to beat. So I get it, I do.
Honestly, the Mizzou game has the potential to become a lot of fun for us in coming seasons. Overall, they're not bad fans for the most part and they're teachable, they seem willing to learn the Southern way. And once they learn some manners they might make for a strange rivalry of some sort. North vs South, heathens vs cultured, pasty white cake eating skin vs tanned healthy attractive people ... the game has potential. Let's give it some time and see what happens.

w/e, your tears will be glorious. Actually it would be way more fun if you beat us and we still won the division....again.

Alabama/LSU is always a safe pick.
Could be Alabama/Auburn again this year... but it just seems like that hardly every happens when you are expecting it to happen.

I'm gonna say LSU @ AU.
Just like in the not-too-distant past, the winner represents the West in ATL.
