What is the likely outcome of this nightmare BCS scenario?

Undefeated Ohio State.
Undefeated Clemson
One-loss UGA.
Who plays for the national title?
Knowing our luck, we will be the team to lose the streak without ever actually playing in the game.

Clemson because they beat UGA.

I wouldn't worry about it.

UGA lost to Clemson.
Ohio State would play Clemson.
Seems pretty simple to me.

Clemson vs OSU, that's easy
Replace one of them with an undefeated Louisville and then you have a nightmare
Eta: in which case I think 1 loss UGA would go

If this gives you nightmares, I hate to think of what will happen if you lose to USCe and spend the first week of December biting your nails wondering whether a 2 loss Georgia will jump an undefeated Clemson.
If it helps...no, no they won't. But some people have nightmares no matter what reassurances they get.

Given this scenario, there is no way in hell UGA is in.
Given the disdain for the SEC nationally, writers don't need much of an excuse to stick to the conference. Add the fact that Richt doesn't have the clout to push the voters, not a chance.

But that's the thing: Even if UGA went on to beat South Carolina, Florida, LSU, and Bama/LSU/A&M in the SECCG? Highly unlikely that that happens, but would that strength of schedule be enough to negate a 3 point loss on the road to start the season?

Ohio State isn't going undefeated this year.

Do I really give off such a sad impression?

If it were undefeated Louisville, maybe.
Undefeated Ohio State, with the SEC fatigue, the perception that the Big 10 is NOT a steaming pile, and a conference championship game win, and Urban Meyer?
OSU in before UGA. Sorry man.

Yep. Even if UGA does that, and the above scenario happens, they will be left out.
In case you haven't noticed, the rest of the country and media except those covering the SEC is sick of the SEC's dominance.
The above scenario provides the ideal reason to keep the SEC out of the title game.
