Dale, Dale, Dale...

That Auburn loss was the first time in Miles' s tenure that I saw us completely give up. It was a near unforgivable abomination.

41-7 is killing us apparently.

Apparently that is way, way, way more ugly than 62-27.

Their only two losses were to top 5 teams
They were manhandled roughly 90% of those games...

Also, I think they overlook LSU because they aren't flashy, even though they have gotten the job done in every game - save Auburn and Mississippi State...similar to Kansas State.

I understand that we lost to Auburn badly. I am just saying LSU is a much, much improved team since the Auburn game. Which we will prove again Saturday night! GEAUX TIGERS!!!

again, if we beat bama we will jump in the polls. Take care of business. Who cares right now.

AND I think we are currently ranked pretty accurately.

As do most rational fans that understand the new system and also understand the rankings mean nothing at this point

My only complaint is that we should NOT be behind OU. But it really doesn't matter.

That's the only thing that puzzles me but it's not like it matters right now

with a quality win over number 11

First, the two top ten teams LSU has played this year have beaten LSU. The 2 losses, plus a one dimensional offense with a very young inexperienced qb that isn't very good is probably holding the committee back.

I do believe LSU should be higher than Ole Miss now that they both have two losses but my best guess would be the lack of playmakers on offense.

If MSU gets credit for beating number 8 ranked LSU, then why does LSU not get credit for beating a top 5 Ole Miss?

Am I missing something here?

The only argument is that LSU has steadily improved. Ultimately it doesn't really mean anything. Win out and LSU will get respect.

LSU got punched in the mouth by Auburn AND State.. That being said they have a big game on Saturday that could change things.

When Les finally breaks down and gets a decent offensive coordinator (and let him coach) then you might get the respect you are looking for. Tell me I'm wrong.
