What is it about Auburn and unlikable coaches?

Feels like they actively go out of their way to be “different” not because it makes sense but because they have to make sure no one accidentally confuses them for being Alabama

Gus was likeable enough, if not a little boring.
Bowden was brash and Tuberville was a bit of a smart-arse, though.

I feel like Chizik brought decorum. I don’t remember if he had any controversy around him but he seemed likable enough.
Gus seems like he got lost on a tour somewhere with his grandmother and was just pretending to be there.
Didn’t care for Tuberville at all

Chizik was cool as was Dye. Harsin seemed likable despite being a shitty coach.. Tuberville got annoying with the finger obsession but being unique in a Spurrier-like way didn't make him unlikable. And did people really dislike Terry Bowden?

Auburn “University” is such a deplorable and loathsome institution that humanity would be best served if it didn’t exist. Endless scandal, cheating and general depravity is what defines Satan’s dung pile on Wire Road. It really shouldn’t exist in a just and moral world. Huge Sleaze is just their latest vacuous example of filth, greed and apostasy. Treat Auburn fans accordingly.
