I said I'd take a SEC championship in football over a basketball national title but most seem to disagree with me. What's the rant think?
But I'd love to go to a BBall Final Four one day with an interest on Bama winning it all. Been there done that several times in football.

At this point as an Alabama fan I go:
1) Basketball national title
2) Basketball Final 4 appearance
3) SEC football title

2) Basketball Final 4 appearance
3) SEC football title

Surprised most LSU, Bama, and Auburn fans don't feel like that. We've all won the BCS recently. Haven't won the FF.

A national championship in any of the big 3 is better than any sport's conference championship.

I'd take a football conference title over a baseball national title.

I would only trade it for a national title in football.
I would not trade a basketball NC for: SEC championship, 13-1 season without championship, etc

An SEC title in football is pretty damn close to a national championship.
I'd probably take the National Championship anyways... I like hanging banners.

There's a question on UF's 24/7 board asking what football result would it take for you to give up a national title in basketball?

You suck, no.

I'm pretty sure most Gator fans are saying otherwise because we suck in football right now and are good at basketball
you'd be wrong. I love hoops, maybe more than football.

Another aspect is that Donovan is without a doubt my favorite UF coach ever in any sport.
Agreed. He is my favorite by a mile. SOS was incredible and he is fun, but Billy is in a pedestal for me.

I wouldn't want to see football go 5-7 or something like that, but I would sacrifice a SECCG win for a Final Four or NC in basketball.

I would love to have a basketball one. Bruce Pearl please.
Sorry to break it to you and TN fans, but Pearl isn't good enough for win a basketball one. He is a fun guy who recruits well, and has his players playing hard, but he did nothing in the tourney. He isn't a great x and o guy.

I wouldn't trade a a single win in football for a baseball NC.

About as much as a baseball NC. Would take any football championship over any
