If Colt hadn’t got hurt in 2009..
if Quinn hadn’t got hurt in 2022..

Texas “might” be 10-0-1 all time
vs the best football program of all time?

The argument can be made.. and that blows my mind a little bit. Clearly it isn’t that way and it certainly wouldn’t be that way if we played every year.. still crazy nonetheless.

This is tRant

If this is supposed to be a good joke you will need two explain it.

If this is and eccentric though it appears more like "Cow Tools" and still needs explanation.

A Texas loss to a Big12 bottom dweller is inevitable. It will be Glorious.

I read an article once discussing Texas' head-to-head records against the best programs in college football contrasted against their overall lack of historical success. Texas has winning records against Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Alabama, Nebraska, and I believe also USC and Ohio State. But they can't hold a candle to any of them history-wise. An interesting dichotomy.

I agree, if we would have beat Bama the 2nd time in 2011, we'd have another championship.

It is interesting.

One program vs. another is always about matchups on the field. How does one explain how Georgia is 3-0 vs. Notre Dame, yet ND is 9-3 vs. Texas and Texas is 4-1 vs. Georgia. Another is Georgia owning Notre Dame, yet ND owns both Texas and Bama, yet Texas and Bama own Georgia. Go figure.

You can do the round-robin with USC owning Texas, yet Texas owns Alabama and Bama owns USC. Doesn't make sense except it's all about certain matchups.

That's one of the beauties of college football that I love.

USC has a winning record vs. Texas, 5-2-0. Notre Dame, also, has a winning record vs. Texas, 9-3-0.

Texas could've gone 5-7 every year since 2009 and still accomplished as much as TAMU.

I always believed that Colt would have won that game. Sad we didn’t get to see him work his magic vs the gumps.
