For the most part rednecks are a secular society in South LA. There's a scanty amount in Livingston Parish and eastward, but typically your New Orleans based or BR based LSU fans aren't Necks... or not nearly to the degree of that of Alabama, MS, or Arky states. In fact, other than football the societies mixing is somewhat awkward. No offense.

The op has somewhat of a point. We may have gotten a little soft. Its been showing in Tiger Stadium the past couple years(crowd noise not up to standards, people leaving in the 3rd quarter, dudes kissing in the stands,etc). Need to man up this year.

They've given up on trying to build a rivalry with Auburn, moved on to the good ol flagship. We ain't havin none of it though, so MSU you are on notice
