You did all of that work and research to say what? If you were to pull up what Les and Coach O accomplished prior to LSU...he’ll throw in Nick Saban as a bonus, and you would be surprised to find nothing spectacular; however, they all won a Natty here.
And however subpar Les and O were, they still pretty much owned little brother Aggie, so keep talking! No coach has done shite at ATM, but get paid!

At Notre Dame, that is usually 2.0, so the NCAA requirement of 90 percent would be 1.8. But the Irish choose to require a 2.0 GPA entering the athlete’s second year. On one level, there is no sign things are that hard.
you cut off the part about Notre Dame requiring that immediately and not just by the player's junior season like the NCAA requires. You also left out the part about players being required to carry a full load in the fall semester unlike other schools. Notre Dame didn't have a 3.4 team GPA average last year with 86 players having a 3.0 or higher by happenstance. Only on this website in efforts to troll senseless minutia would people actually argue that Notre Dame's academic standards for athletes aren't higher than most places. It's honestly hilarious this is actually being argued.
And the constant strawman arguments in response are just special

Then why didn’t they? Jimbo, Riley, Aranda wanted no part of LSU.
They tried really hard to hire those 3 and several others before Kelly but kept getting turned down. Im not really shocked JImbo and Riley turned them down because they are in much better places but I had no idea Baylor>LSU. I honestly thought LSU would win that one.

It’s not trolling. If you think that there are 10-15 4 star football players per year that are smart enough to get into Notre dame, smart enough to maintain a 3.0 all on their own, and who actually want to go to ND, you are seriously delusional. Im not saying they aren’t marginally higher standards, I’m saying they are definitely not what everyone makes them out to be. And all those players definitely get some “assistance” from the tutors just like at every other school.

are you incapable of not making strawmen arguments?

Bullshite.
You said exactly that in the OP:

You can try to argue that because of the “Academic restrictions” at Notre Dame (this is a myth , prove me wrong)

So, he is a .500 coach vs decent teams.
Get ready for a lot of 8-4/7-5 type years.

@Colonel I'm genuinely curious, this isn't a troll. Have you ever made a thread on secR that got more upvotes than downvotes?
No? then maybe post less?

Well, he hasn’t even coached a game at LSU yet and he has all you aggots worked up into a frenzy.
But that’s really more a reflection of y’all than it is of Kelly.

How much fricking time did you put into this?

He just starting at LSU and he already has a better lineup than he’s at any other place he’s been.

I’m sure no one is going to bookmark this thread and bring it back out when LSU and Brian Kelly kick the shite out of Texas A&M and their number one recruiting class next year.
