I'm just glad we have Tennessee in the conference. Nobody pays attention to how bad LSU and Auburn are screwing up things because UT is so fricked up.

Pruitt's legal team is better than UTs - the best in Alabama and maybe the best in the southern US. Pruitt didn't approve or participate in major NCAA violations. He's not that stupid. UT wants to make this about Pruitt's connection to Alabama - and it won't go well for the amateurs in the UT administrative office. By the time it's over UT admins will be running jobless away from the UT campus with their hair on fire.

You’ll pay his salary and buyout.

Y’all really fricked up how y’all went about trying to get rid of him.

Then y’all fricked up again by giving Fulmer his buyout and trying to paint this as 100% Pruitt. He’s going to have a field day if this goes to court. Your best bet is to pay the buyout and pray to god there are no level 1 violations (there are).

But regardless y’all will have to bring on a retread to get through these next few years of reduced scholarships, official visits, etc along with trying to build a very depleted roster after half your starters bounce.

I thought everyone had come to terms with cheating in college athletics. Hell, even Creighton is out there offering $100k to players.
You are everything wrong with college sports today, maybe you should watch pro sports if you are so obsessed with money

No one has accused him of such. What he is guilty of is failure to provide oversight that resulted in a level I/II/ or enough level IIIs to constitute a level I. And expressly laid out in his contract that is grounds for termination with cause.

Alabama is supposed to be better than having a bad Tennessee program live rent free in your head. Don’t worry the Fulmer boogeyman is retiring for good this time. You can sleep without a nightlight then.

And when the dust settles where is this leaving the AD? Civil lawsuits don't worry about fulmer's honor and place in Tennessee folklore. Should have just paid the money.

Rebuilding. They gutted the department including the AD stepping down and the new AD bringing his folks in.

Pruitt was not the only one fired. 2 assistants and 6 off the field folks were caught in this mess.

IF UT gets a Level I for Pruitt's failure to monitor his staff and jeopardizing players eligibility, then how can Auburn get a pass for what Persons was doing on Pearl's staff?

I'm not saying Bruce knew or Jeremy knew, maybe the NCAA won't hold the HC totally responsible for the actions of their staff in these cases. Who knows what the NCAA will frick up?

Let’s be honest - the NCAA is going to go after Pearl sooner or later and it will be a shame because he’s the most fun coach in the conference. If they do give him a show cause - I hope Auburn holds on to him anyway.
