The East is as weak as it has ever been. If Georgia doesn't win the division, Kirby should be fired on the spot.

Im not sure where all of this is coming from, but if they don't live up to expectations what does that mean for the coach?

That's true, but to me they are a part of it being so weak.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't see a clear cut favorite in this division and no outcome would surprise me much.

Kentucky is going to win the SEC east... they are going 11-1 and will only have a loss to mississippi state. Stoops wins Coach of the year

Who the frick knows...every year its the same shite over and over. Thats why we play the games.

I don't speak for the UGA fanbase, but myself, No way I'd put money on us winning the East. Too many unknowns. I think we lose a few and most likely, because we are UGA, one we shouldn't lose. IT will come down to how others play and do as well

Does UGA have the talent to win the East? You bet.. and then some. Does UGA have the coaching to win the East? Ahh...there is the unknown...even we don't know as its only the second year for Kirby and company.

Good news is, we are about to find out.

I do think Carolina, Florida, and Tenn are all int he East race personally.

We will hear many, many excuses. Somehow it will be blamed on Jeremy Pruitt.

The top of the east is as weak as ever, the bottom is much improved, much better than over the last few years.

It will be a disappointment without a doubt. Schedule is definitely manageable and we have an extremely experienced defense with a more experienced offense that should hopefully have a better OL. Good coaching should put us in position to take the East.

My thoughts as well. I do hope I'm wrong for the better and we exceed expectation, but I wanna see solid growth from last season. Shouldn't be that hard. We were bad.

If UGA doesn't win the East then they are still the same old UGA. Never living up to expectations since (insert any date here).

It will be just another normal year. Georgia is already known as the biggest underachievers in college sports

Well one computer simulation has Georgia going 6-6 so there you go.

I think next year is going to be the year where there is going to be a massive fight for the East. Y'all, us, Florida, Tennessee...it's gonna be a battle to the end. I think the East will be stronger next year than it has been in a very long time, also.

I'll believe that when I see it. Personally I don't see any East program even on the verge of being elite at this point.
