That one time lsu fans made fun of Florida fans because the football game was delayed due to a hurricane. That was fun. Lenny shoved a UF coach then Florida whipped that arse.

Honestly don't think we've ever hated LSU. Fun rivalry but we got FSU, Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee ahead of you.

We didn't whip arse, though. Like most of our games it was really even.

I think it has lost its luster a little bit for a few reasons. FIrst, the reason it got to be such a hot rivalry is because the teams were in the hunt for SEC and national championships. Next is because LSU fans had big hatred for Spurrier and Meyer, but they are very familiar with Napier and know that he is a genuinely nice person, so he is not as easy to hate. And finally you have the player turnover with the portal and NIL, which means you don't get 3-4 years to hate any of the star players like Tebow or Fournette.

I don't think Gator fans ever hated LSU as much as Tiger fans hated the Gators.

Hell even the few times I have been to 30A it seems more like a hodge podge of different teams' fans. But correct, plenty of LSU fans there

There's a youtube video on how this was the downfall of UF football. UF was primed to make a NC run. Lost to LSU due to shoe launch. Lost to Bama in SEC championship and then all down hill from there.
I got so drunk I had to rewatch it all the next day.

'97 & the '07 games are 2 of my favorites but not high on this "rivalry". Just can't really hate Florida enough. I'd rather play Auburn

I've never hated Florida like i do Auburn. IMO, Florida is one of our best rivals if not the best. But, I've always had a lot of respect for all of their sports. I hope we get to play them every year in every sport.
