It’s taking a while to get the left tackle adjusted and the center seems to have regressed a bit. The guy they inserted at right guard a few weeks ago, Jaeden Roberts, has helped things some.
Some guys are probably a little too heavy, too.

The rushing hasn't returned like it needs to but it does show up in the 2nd half. It's hard to return to being ground and pound after being finesse. It takes a little time.

Nah, we didn't, but here are three (3) similar items of note:
1. Kadyn Proctor is currently a revolving door at LT.
2. Kadyn Proctor is an 18-year-old true freshman.
3. Kadyn Proctor will be a first round draft pick.

that why Alabama is undefeated vs Kirby outside of the *rematch (without two key offensive playmakers that blew UGA out a month before for the second time in a year)?
2 years later and you’re still whining

Probably still do.
Not a flame: Do you think McLaughlin gets drafted and if so, what round?

Probably not.
But between Latham, Proctor, Pritchett and Booker I think 3 of them could go in the 1st round eventually.

The LSU defense should have no problems keeping Alabama under 20 points with that shitty OL. Right?
Here’s the thing. While our passing defense may be bad, our rushing defense may be even worse. I forget what I’m going for but we are essentially the anti Alabama.

Interesting. Because we had a few defensive starters out too.
How dense are you?
Did it ever dawn on you that we had walk ons starting in the secondary and freshmen wide receivers all over the field?
We were rolling out a new left tackle mid-game.
It was college football in December. Every team is beat up.
I don't understand some Bama fans. It is almost 2 years later and they still don't get it. I don't know if it is arrogance. Or narcissism.
But some Gumps are like no other fanbase.

It's pretty simple. Two high visibility players, who combined for 281 yards and 3 touchdowns in a game played between the two teams a month before got injured and couldn't play. Alabama then struggled offensively. There's a different flavor to the "if [x] hadn't gotten hurt, then the outcome would have been different" when you've already seen it happen--even if you don't know for sure the outcome would have been the same the second time around.
It ultimately does not matter because injuries are part of the game. But every other SEC fan base would be saying the same stuff as Alabama fans if in the same position.

Problem is none of those guys play Left Tackle.

Alabama fans are still making excuses for their failure from two years prior? Man, that's pathetic.

No
Every other fanbase gets over it and moves on.
Let me introduce you to Texas.
Georgia.
I'm sure there are several others (who you don't know about because they move on).

The other thing I like to point out to Bama fans is that the SECCG game didn't actually mean anything to UGA. They already had a playoff spot locked up at kickoff and didn't need to win the game.
This is proven by the fact they lost the game and still won the national title.
UGA was playing the SECCG to prepare for the playoff. They didn't push guys who were hurt to play more minutes then planned as part of their recovery plans. They didn't replace their starting QB who had a bad game because they didn't want to impact him in the playoff. It wasn't a must win for UGA.
It would have gotten an all out effort if the 12 team playoff with the byes were in place. But as it was, the game meant absolutely nothing for UGA's national championship hopes, other than the fact they played Michigan in the first round instead of Cincinatti.

That’s a whole lot of words to say you’re still melting about a loss that was well over a year and a half ago now.
We’re going to whip that arse in the SECCG too, so go ahead and wrap your mind around that one while we’re here.

Of course. Bama fans only see (high visibility) their players.
Never mind our all American safety.
Never mind our stud NFL wide receiver.
Never mind our 1st and 2nd string right guard.
Never mind swapping a new left tackle mid game (how many posts in this thread about left tackle and the lack of murder ball?).
Never mind our 4.3 forty wide receiver.
Never mind our ILB who is now one of your leading tacklers.
They aren't visible.
Because you are Bama (maybe you'd notice if that linebacker got hurt this year. I'm guessing you would).

Alabama wins that game with 1 of their top 2 receivers. The early game sorta indicated it. Not Georgia’s problem that Alabama only had 2 good receivers because they missed hard in every recruiting class after 2018 besides Metchie in 2019.
