What game do you think you will pull an upset at home or a big away game this season?

Someone brought up today that even our incompetent former coach beat a higher ranked team at home each season - Utah, TN, Ole Miss and Texas. Curious who people think that will be on their schedule this season. If you are one of the real high ranked teams this season I guess you could just list a road game or neutral site game you probably wouldn't be favored in.

If we can keep that up this season I think our 2 possibilities are Ole Miss and Oklahoma at home. I lean to it being Ole Miss due to their Kiffin game the week prior.

I'm certainly scared of Ohio State doing that.

If we (Auburn) win a single SEC we will have pulled off an upset on the heels of 5 superior coaching years of juggernauts like Freeze and Harsin

The game at Tennessee late in the year doesn’t scare me at all for some reason. I think they are going to be very mid this year and may be checked out by the time we play them. Heupel may be in a double D by that time.

The games at Kentucky and at Auburn in October are far more frightening to me.

I think Auburn with an experienced QB coming in will definitely pull an upset. Maybe LSU at home or one of the road games with TN and Bama.

With the exception of last year, under Beamer, SC has a habit of pulling an upset and taking teams out of the playoffs in November...

Just sayin'....

beamer's average score against UGA is 11 - 37 and UGA hasn't lost in columbia since dylan thompson was squaring off against hutson mason lol

SC may upset someone, they have a tendency to do that, but it won't be UGA.

Only Uga game under Beamer that was truly in contention was Rattler's second year at Athens, when SC was leading at halftime.

I likely agree with you. I don't think SC will upset Uga. I'm more likely to think at Bama is ripe for the upset.

No one, including the folks in Columbia, have any idea what SC has this year. They could be '24 level good, or they could be worse than '25. A lot rides on the new offensive staff.

Every W/L projection for OU has a W @ Florida the week before hosting Ole Miss, which will probably be a playoff elimination game.

No game in the swamp is that easy.

And like any disingenuous and unscrupulous UGA fan, you left out that fact that I already had put a disclaimer in my original statement. They whole intact quote reads like this....

So I clearly state that the trend may have already reversed itself. You "conviently" left that out.

I think that’s a fair and accurate statement. Will USC win an upset? That is the hope but I doubt it will be against Georgia. But that’s why they play the games.

If South Carolina can beat Georgia in Athens as 26-point underdogs with Will Muschamp as a head coach, anything is possible.
