He does seem like a good kid...but he's also making 6 million dollars in NIL...so that kinda makes it hard to feel bad for him.

I bet Arch’’s family now regrets not letting him participate in football camps during high school. Yes he probably would’ve only had a three star or low four star ranking. But he probably would’ve progressed more. He would have a much better shot at being successful in the long-term.

If Arch went into the portal, Lincoln Riley would make him an offer and he'd be in the mix for a Heisman next season.

That sounds silly.

Are they standing behind you right now waiting for you to stop posting?

If he's good in practice and it just isn't translating to games you have to stick with him and hope it clicks.

If his practice performance is similar to his game performance they have to bench him at this point. I don't think you can justify continuing to trot him out there if the rest of the team knows he's shite.

Yeah that and if his name weren't Manning. The conversation would be more like "this guy has flashed some but still has a ways to go".

So what you're saying is it's Sark.

Smart guy.

There’s a difference between

1. How Internet T-shirt fans behave
2. How actual graduates behave in the real world

Will you pretend that your graduates emulate the behavior of the fans on this forum?

Third year in the program with 10 starts? It ain't going to click. Throw in the coddling and personal coaching he has enjoyed and you have to say at this point that the kid is a football disaster.

Not a diss on Sarkisian, much anyway. We saw what Riley did with Jalen Hurts, made him a Heisman contender when everyone had written him off as a great running QB but only mediocre passing one.

All the help and exposure that they sheltered them for plus all the private coaching he had access to

Then send him with realistic expectations to a program like Arizona State

And you never know what would happen

Not just Sark. It's the entire horn sports ecosystem that values hype over on the field results. No doubt, Del Conte spends hours every day waxing the pagoda under his desk as he watches the TV ads featuring the program.

Who cares it’s great watching Texas continue to struggle and be irrelevant as they’ve been the last 2 decades LOL

Relax Rodo, I get your point.

Either way who's been in the playoffs the last 2 years?

draft eligible JR. Not young at all. And even when he does have time, he cannot make many of the throws.
RS sophomore. But that's moot. He's made some insane throws this year outside of the pocket. But, clearly isn't comfortable in it.

For next year, we should keep him, bring in a seasoned QB for competition & try to upgrade around him.

Why do you want to make it a comparative discussion?

That really get under your aggie skin doesn't it?

You see around 10 different UT commercials every Saturday, and it frustrates you when you haven't see a single one with an aggie in it.

Not even Lassie!

Poor aggies

Does this mean a&m doesn't value on field results at all? Since ww2 I don't see much success...
