Arkansas is too far from talent rich areas. Little Rock metro is over 2 1/2 hours away, Tulsa is 2 hours away, and neither of those is producing a ton of talent. Personally I love NWA, but I’m almost 50. It’s much harder convincing an 18 yo to go there. They are in a similar circumstance as Nebraska.

We had the talent to be 9-3 this year. We blew several games with self inflicted mistakes and penalties. We outplayed A&M, Ok St, and Mizzou and still lost.

I don’t think it matters as much as 10 years ago, but it still matters. Now if the Waltons, Hunts, etc. started caring about football at Ark they could make some noise.

Arkansas has some good food. Went to Eureka Springs not long ago and tiny place had the best pizza I’ve had in a while. Couple really nice restaurants as well.

Nebraska is a wasteland surrounded by nothing.
Arkansas while the high school football talent is poorly coached and underdeveloped is still better than Nebraska. The state is surrounded by much more populated states than Nebraska.

No but there’s was good too. it was downtown. The Crescent had awesome breakfast buffet. Stayed there and the Palace.
