I felt all season long that he was a below average passer at this level and he didn't strike fear in me before our game for sure. There is something about him however. Strong leadership, makes big plays when the team needs him the most and can burn you on running plays. He has the it factor imo. I don't know if he will ever be elite throwing the ball but with a year under his belt I think he is a guy that gets it done next year especially with a five star tailback to finally take some pressure off of him. What do non LSU fans think?

Solid Game Manager with some running ability. Would be an above average QB with a decent system and OL. Tough kid, seems like a leader.

He had a good game against us. Will never be a great QB though

I dont think he will be making Jake Fromm type throws next year, but I will hold out hope that with improved oline and better backs and a year for receivers to grow that his game will elevate a bit. It would be nice if all that translated into more wins, but we live in the SEC West, sooooooo.....

He's a slightly above average QB with decent accuracy when he's not pressured.

Has poor pocket presence, but it is a tough player.

Not the Godsend some LSU fans wanted to make him, but he's a decent QB.

He’s definitely a good QB, from what I’ve seen, but I don’t think he can be considered “great.” He’s definitely a positive force for LSU and I think his teammates respect him and he fits the program really well.

I’ve said all along. He’s a heck of a player and a better leader.

The offensive scheme does him no favors. LSU doesn’t put a bunch of receivers into the pattern so his options are limited and he’s throwing into tighter coverage/bracketed coverage because of it.

Heart of a lion. I’m very impressed with him.

He would have been hell on wheels for the Huskers back in the day.

He's the best QB in the conference. If he had the talent around him and the playcalling, he'd be a Heisman finalist.

Great competitor and attitude. Annoying AF if you're an opposing fan though

hell no. with our piss poor OL we have to increase our blocking for teams with any sort of DL. the only good team that we were even able to put a bunch of receivers in the pattern is Georgia. for some reason, our piss poor OL was able to block Georgia's guys.

Joe Burrow is a bum. He got lucky vs Auburn on that TD pass that LSU fans hypes him up about. So he know how to check into a run play....so can 80% of the other QB's in college

It factor?? Man the bar is low on the rant today

I know you wanted to hear from non LSU fans but I had to chime in and say he’s my favorite LSU QB since Flynn. Kid has moxie.

We cannot get a good picture of what he is capable of with the current OL play in front of him. He is also greatly hampered by the mediocre RB support.

For those that don’t speak SWC era fooseball, that is some mighty fine praise.
