What do Randy Moss, AJ Green, and now Mike Evans have in common?

All 3 started their careers with at least 4 straight seasons of 1000 yards receiving.

Props to Mike for being the best young SEC receiver in the NFL. He keeps it up he’ll be right up there with Green, Julio, Nuk, & Brown as the best of the best.

What other young SEC receiver has 4500+ yards in only 4 years?

First of all, Beckham is better than Evans. Second, so is Landry

They have all been in the league for 4 years and only Mike has had 1000 plus yard seasons every year. He’s done so with a bad OC & avg at best QB. Let’s be real, Jimbo made Winston.

When you go fishing do you even use bait or do you just throw the hook out?

Most of that with a young shitty turnover prone QB too, pretty impressive

Saints WR Michael Thomas (tOSU) just set the NFL record for Most Catches (196) in his first two seasons, while earning a Pro Bowl spot this year for his 104 rec for 1,245 yards, his 2nd consecutive 1,000 yd season.

So he's younger and already better than Evans was.

Oh, and Thomas broke the record previously set by 2x Pro Bowler Jarvis Landry (194) who came out from the SEC the same year as 1x Pro Bowler Evans.

Jarvis is not only the NFL receptions leader this year, but has the most receptions ever caught over 4 years (400) and has 4,000+ career yards.

So he’s got way fewer yards and TDs. Got it.

I'd take Evans over Thomas all day.

And more pro bowls.

Sadly, more telling than anything is your "borrowing of prestige" by mentioning Evans alongside true WR superstars like Moss, Green, and Julio who made their own reputations, as if Evans was in the same stratosphere.

I'm not saying Evans isn't good. He just ain't no Julio or OBJ. And I've made the case that he might not even be better than Thomas or Landry.

Ugh no. Thomas is a BA all the way around. Plus you have no drama.
