self-quarantine
Self quarantine is a good idea. If you are sick, stay the frick at home. If you have a weakened immune system, stay the frick at home.
Because you're going to catch this shite at the grocery store, gas station and other places where you interact with people.

Or nothing will happen over the next few days or weeks. Ohio said they probably have 100,000 people with it. And their hospitals are not overwhelmed or even noticing anything. And nobody is dying.
Dude, our hospitals will be over run within 2 weeks. There arent enough respirators, so "tough choices" will be made and many will die. Others wont go for treatment and will die of Sepsis in their lungs in their own beds.

Why are you saying this like it would be a bad thing?
How many sick or dead people do you feel is needed to justify the concerns?

Because the way everyone is acting on the news if you get this you die immediately.
Death, when it happens, usually occurs 12-28 days after contracting the illness, and more often when there are too many critically ill people to care for.
That’s what people are acting like.

How about a ban bet on that number?
You know you have made some terrible arguments when you are reduced to one of the lowest forms of a post, a fricking ban bet.

Yes they're trying to compel people to self-quarantine, and if people will stop being A-holes and hollering "You can't make me," we'll get through this thing a lot faster and get back to normal.
News flash: You may not to get to do that which you wish to do or go where you wish to go for a while, and you may miss out on some sports events, to keep this bug from multiplying exponentially ... that's the relevant thing, the speed and the fury with which this thing metastasizes .. regardless of the death rate or how sick it makes people compared to all the other diseases people keep bringing up.
That goes against the American traditions of libertarianism and unfettered personal freedom, but you'll live.
Well said

TRUMP denied the WHO tests and gave the contract to a company he owns stock in and now there ARE NOT enough tests. 10,000 people a day tested in South Korea, not even 10,000 all month in USA>
The sad thing is, you actually believe this.

Who do you think denied the WHO tests?

Get off your high horse. If you're more comfortable wrapping yourself in bubble wrap and hiding under your bed sucking your thumb,go for it. Most here want to go on living their lives.

quote:Look around. See all those billboards, bus stops, tv and radio ads? Well they mostly are advertising for plaintiff attorneys. Out of 100 people killed in car wrecks involving a negligent 2nd party, about....100% result in suites....and if it could be proven that someone knowingly with the flu went into the public and personally gave someone else the flu, you can bet your arse there'd be a law suit!
with that logic why not just end all spectator sports. I mean, on average 100 people are killed each day in a car wreck. I'm sure next year someone will catch the flu from someone at Jordan-Hare or the PMAC? If we're going off the deep end, lets just go all out.
C'mon, man!
