let's say we get a pretty good grad transfer to come in and start, does that change your perception of this team?

you think we win more?

not at all you still have O LMAO?

think we will be more of the same?

if you face us does that change your outlook on the game?

thoughts and discussion are encouraged.

I mean, you won't be worse by bringing in a better QB.

not sure, but let's assume he is.

with LSU talent and a good QB we might be able to make some noise.

Assuming he's good I guess 9-10 wins looking at your schedule.

Probably have a respectable 9 or 10 win season. Enough to hang on to your head coach.

And once this hypothetical qb signs, I'm sure we all become "scared" and you all will smell "fear".

Sans the grad part, what makes this any different than Mettenberger, Etling, or anyone else?

The entire fan base praises anyone that transfers in and lures you into some false hope of a title.

When you boys gonna learn?

No matter who you get, Special Ed will mess him up.

You guys need help on the OL more than anything else. Every game against Bama your OL is basically a turnstile. You had two of the most elite backs in the game recently in LF7 and Guice and they both couldn't do shite because defense is all up in your backfield. An elite QB will help but ya'll need to get a lot better on the line.

I just wonder how good LSU will be next year with burrow. With a year under his belt, most of our team coming back, and our recruiting should be better, we should be very tough in 2019

my prediction with good QB/offensive play:

vs Miami - T
vs SE Louisiana - W
@ Auburn - T
vs LA Tech - W
vs Ole Miss - W
@ Florida - T
vs Georgia - L
vs Miss St - W
vs Alabama - L
@ Arkansas - W
vs Rice - W
@ Texas A&M - T

6 wins, 4 toss ups and 2 losses - so anywhere from 9-3 to 7-5

good offense moves the Auburn & Miami games from loss to toss-up and MS State from tossup to win IMO

take out good QB play and offense being mediocre, I say 5 wins, 4 losses (add Aub & Mia to L) with 3 tossups (aTm, State & UF)

so anywhere from 6-6 to 8-4

That's the problem, and why he needs a QB transfer.

Pretty much more of the same, a second tier program in the West. Lsu will once again get depants by Bama for the 8th straight time with no end in sight. Until Lsu gets past that, you're just rearranging chairs on the deck. It's just who you are now.
