Are we then assuming Auburn beats FSU?

Because however soft Bama's schedule next year it is probably no easier than FSU's... and the voters love to carry over a previous season's success as if it were the same team.

Looking at Bama's schedule next year I don't know who other than Auburn, LSU or maybe (but probably not) Florida has a chance to beat them. It looks like a bunch of bye weeks

Auburn has UGA, LSU, Alabama and the way they are rolling now it feels like they will be a force

Auburn doesn't have to play Auburn, so their schedule is easier.

Auburn gets to enter next season as the hunted, not the team that went 3-9. Considering they escaped by the skin of their teeth on several occasions this year against subpar competition I doubt they're able to maintain this level of success with a target on their back.

You also have to consider that Auburn most likely only improves next year with almost all starters coming back on offense and most coming back on defense. We should have a nice influx of talent on defense in key spots too. Have Tre Williams coming in at LB and Roberts and most likely Bessent coming into the secondary. Not to mention getting Garrett (supposed to be best player on the defense in preseason), Whitaker and Holsey back from injury next year.

I think Auburn will lose the championship, but they have certainly proven to perfect their offensive scheme. I just believe the athletes at receiver for FSU provide a far superior mismatch than the auburn running game against the FSU front. Of course, Auburn deserves to be there and this is not a knock on them....just my opinion.

"Alabama has to play @ LSU and gets Tennessee and Florida."

Is there reason to believe that Tenn and FL will be any good?

More like 10-2 at worst. Too much experience returns.

I see us maybe losing to LSU if the new QB is intimidated in Death Valley. I don't see anyone else other than Auburn beating us unless West Virginia somehow shocks us and our CBs sucks, but WVU is bad.

Bama players are gonna be hungry. Bama's success drives Auburn, now Auburn's success will drive Bama. Saban has something to feed to them. They know what it is like now to not play for the title. They'll be ready.

Not happening....Bama will lose a game due to lack of leadershio on offense due to AJ and CJ leaving...I think we finish 10-2 next yr.

Auburn will drop atleast 2 next yr with that schedule, especially if they lose Mason and Robinson early. Plus a yr for teams to study the offense Gus is running to look for tendencies

I think there is a very good chance Auburn is a better team next year, but it's also quite likely we won't get through unscathed.

No way Alabama loses 3 next year. I understand the new QB thing, but what 3 teams on the schedule will beat you? Maybe LSU...Maybe A&M? Auburn? Who knows, but Bama is not dropping all 3 of those.
