Even though Florida lost to FSU last season, I have to give the Gator fans credit for railing on FSU’s stadium. The official name is Doak Campbell. Florida calls it (my 3 favorites):

Joke Shamble
Croak Ramble
Toke Amble

Honorable Mention: The Little Top (in honor of FSU’s circus program)

Playing "Between the Hedges" has been around since the early 1930's for UGA.

And we call the Georgia Tech stadium "Sanford South" or sometimes "The Joke by Coke".

I mean that's pretty damned terrible. But, congrats.

A&M's best nicknamed sporting venue no longer exists.

G. Rollie White Coliseum aka Jollie Rollie aka the Holler House.

Even though yall aren't the only ones with hedge rows. most people think of Georgia when you say between the hedges. so i'd say yes it counts.

When I was a little boy, getting my hair cut, the old-timers in the barber shop would talk about "Don's Dungeon". My dad said it was about Faurot Field , for Don Faurot. Haven't heard that in a long, long time .

Rocky Top isn't bad.

Although that's a late development. We never called it that growing up. We always knew that Rocky Top was an entirely different place, not even in Knoxville.

But as a stadium nickname it's not bad, and it gets used all the time by announcers these days.

But other than Death Valley, and the Swamp, I don't recall any other SEC stadiums that have any national recognition as stadium's with a nickname.

See above.

I would say 'between the hedges' counts, although it's not a nickname, per say, but more a descriptor. But it's synonymous with Georgia's stadium.

I don’t think you know what the word “cool” means

Cool = The Rock in “Scorpion King”

Palace on a prairie is frickin gay

I know they aren’t in the SEC but Georgia Tech is known at the North Avenue Trade School, the Joke by Coke and Sanford West ( since Georgia owns GT - the bees haven’t beaten UGA there since 1999.) it’s really pretty funny. As if UGA would ever claim that rusty old hulk.

also, as a former big dumpster fire member we apologize for blowU already. these toothless sister banging mofos have never actually stepped foot in a double digit high school classroom much less a college class, and they literally only know 2 words. you'll hear them over and over and over.
