have a buddy that made a vacation out of it to see Drew.
Not a bad short trip. When I went a few years back, I visited the Pro Football HOF in Canton in the morning, the waterfall in their joke of a National Park at lunch, Rock and Roll HOF in the afternoon, and an Indians game in the evening.

I never been to a Pro Football HOF induction, but have been to three Baseball HOF inductions. It’s a big deal for fans of the teams, especially if the player being inducted is most notable for playing for their’s. Canton is easier to get to than Cooperstown, so it’s completely legit.

BIG MAD at Brian Cashman for not doing more to upgrade the Yanks by trade deadline, especially mad for not getting a Catcher. How soon is #28?
WFAN’s two Yankee fans are mad? Was listening earlier and the rest of the station doesn’t give a rip about the Bronx Bandwagoners.

It's still a third party, even though they sort of try to help you. It's not hard to hit Avis and Europcar to compare prices, either.
Never book Avis, unless you go through Costco. If National-Alamo-Enterprise beat the Costco, price, which they rarely do and typically it involves a member reward, I can easily can the Costco reservation.
Stay away from third parties, except rental car companies, especially if you dare rent Avis.

And what does Costco do that is so beneficial?
As a nonmember, you can still see their prices:
Costco Travel (click on rental cars and search)
What they do special is :
- allow you to compare prices between car rental companies and vehicle categories
- cancel up to day of reservation with no charge, so you can cancel and rebook if you find a cheaper rate later on
- not charged in advance
- customer service to help if Avis runs out of cars. They got me booked next door at National, at a better price too!

I booked a car with Thrifty last year. One and done. Horrible experience all around
A few years back at Kona airport, I get my car in 5 minutes at Alamo while it took my dad almost an hour and a half at Thrifty. He did save $45 dollars over 8 days vs. mine, but that nonsense isn’t worth it to me.

Have you learned the lesson to book direct?
I book direct for airlines and hotels, but always go through Costco Travel for rental cars. It saved my arse one night when Avis ran out of cars. I always use Costco and typically book one of the Enterprise family brands (Enterprise, National, Alamo). I avoid just about everyone else like the plague.

Keeneland is a must. The only three Bourbon Trail stops I’ve done in the Lexington area are Woodford Reserve, Castle & Key, and Wild Turkey. I highly recommend the tours at all three. Be sure to book early.

After the The Boat’s exchange rate, the problem sometimes is the 0-0, 7-0 games that are common. Sure, some are good and compelling, but the others can just be boring, few shot, dive grass acting sessions.

It’s sitting in the garage at the moment. I almost pulled it out earlier in the week. I am glad I didn’t. Other than the lack of rain, it has been a pleasant summer so far in the coastal Pacific Northwest.

I know the general rule is anything that is attached to the wall stays with the house when it is sold. Does that usually apply to TV wall mounts as well? I don't mind leaving the mounts if that's the expectation. I suppose it could also come down to the buyer's preference. Just wanted to check what the usual practice is -- first time doing this in 18 years.
Unless specified as belonging to seller, best done in the purchase and sale agreement, all attachments are expected to be included.

True. Trains and planes depend on these, hence why they were created in the first place. Before time zones, we used the sun before it caused train wrecks.

Correct. Many people forget how far east South America is to North America.
re: Fiddy Cent Bids A-Deuces to Shreveport

I really believe Memphis would be a better candidate for 50 Cent to do this than Shreveport due to the zero state income tax, the city willing to work with Trump to lower crime with the national guard, Memphis BBQ, and the music tradition.

Can’t wait to readjust this map when the SuperSonics come back.

I love standard time. It’s natural. Daylight savings is artificial and bad for you. And some of us who work out in the mornings appreciate early light.

4 AM to 5 AM
9 PM to 10 PM
That’s the difference between ST and DST for me. Summertime DST is essential at northern latitudes! Sorry to repeat myself but if we choose one, it is either DST or redraw the time zones into angled stripes.

I don't think that the Senate will pass this because they will figure out that, once we have Permanent DST, people will be fed up with it and hate it after a few years of spending much of the early day in the pre-dawn twilight.
Sunrise where I live ST vs. DST, June 23:
ST: 4:16 AM
DST: 5:16 AM
Either make DST standard, or barber pole striped time zones!

frick that! I live at 47 degrees north. Sunlight before 5 am sucks! The real answer to solve north- south sunlight issues are barber pole striped time zones angled NW to SE.

What are the Chili’s commercials like where you live? I live in lilly white/asian Western Washington where the spokeswoman sounds southern ghetto as frick and isn’t marketing to anything above welfare retirements? Is this the same everywhere?
re: Give Wawa a try per Kige Ramsey

Why Wawa and Sheetz can hang is self customization. Wawa is brilliant for me where I can order a bacon and egg cheese bagel and add spinach, onions, and honey mustard to it. Sheetz is great with their pretzel bunned fried protein sandwiches.
