The Auburn student body raised a pretty big chunk of money for the 2011 tornado victims in 2011. Can't remember the exact figure but it was great to see that some things are bigger than football and people can come together for a good cause.
ETA: found on AUs office of communications page
Auburn Family All-In Relief Fund: $128,750 (includes the Chefs to the Rescue event sponsored by the The Hotel at Auburn University.
Toomer's for Tuscaloosa: $76,150 (includes $20,300 in t-shirt sales raised by an Auburn student)
Grand total Raised: $205,000 (all to the American Red Cross specific to the areas impacted by the storm)

FSU had that shooting in their library a couple of years ago and a bunch of students and faculty went to Tallahassee to pray with them in front of their library. The school newspaper made this stupid logo.

When UF gave LSU another home football game, and didn't make LSU play in Gainesville, during a hurricane. I thought it was very thoughtful.

Vandy offered to run a free dental and literacy clinic for the other 13 SEC member fan bases. Wasn't that nice!

Actually the Dores are usually one of the first to supply other schools in emergency. Had 2 or 3 semi's roll out of Nashville with water and generators when Columbia flooded a year or two ago.

I remember right after Ole Miss player Chucky Mullins was paralyzed State fans were donating money to his fund at the 1989 Egg Bowl. I can't remember how much was raised, but it was a pretty decent amount.

Devon Gales injury and UGA response. My pastor's brother is the head trainer there at UGA and he has been the spearhead from Day 1. Great family, those Coursons are!!
The compassion displayed by Auburn fans and the school in the aftermath of the 4/27/11 tornadoes is right up there.

Southern and SEC schools help each other out in times of natural disaster (Katrina, 2011 Miss. and Alabama tornadoes, Hugo, 2004 Fla hurricane outbreak, South Carolina 2015 flooding, etc.)
