Our entire secondary isn’t leaving. Kirby will never have a bad secondary. He is to DBs what you idiots think Mullen is for QBs.

and he eventually won a title because of hte talent he accumulated did he not? Luckiest title in our lifetimes but it still counts the same as any other.

Point being..if you continue to stack up top 3 talent, it would almost be impossible to not luck up and fall backwards into a title somehow at some point.

. . . and Nick Saban, and Urban Meyer, and Jimbo Fisher (not the best coach), and Pete Carol.

Go look up the thread on the top WR cores this year. I made a sig bet with one UGA fan and several others scoffed when I said UFs core was better than UGAs.

All the UGA fans in that thread posted about stars, talent, and depth. Guess what? None of that mattered this year. They were woefully green, and lacked any sort of skill to separate from man coverage. That’s coaching and inexperience.

I keep seeing UGA fans post that Stokes and LeCounte will stay.

Stokes has a very good chance of going in the top 3 rounds right now.

Stokes is the 3rd best corner. If Ringo signs he may end up the 4th best.

LeCounte is a good player who still shows some mental lapses. Cine is a also good player, and will fill the position well.

I'd love for both to stay, but the D is going to be better next season either way.

the only thing that came up for me on a search was a SOG thread from July talking about WRs and none of our fans really commented except for fib who even made a joke abotu how bad we looked

Let's pretend this exists though exactly like boxer claims. I'm sure all of our fans pointed to recruiting rankigns, because with zero (or practically any) experience and on field action taht's all you possibly can look at. None of our fans predicted our WRs to be great adn without knowing UF's receiving group I still can't imagine we'd be predicted to be better. Coming into the yeaer (not even talking about hindsight here) we had DRob who was promising and expected to take a big step, a grad transfer from miami, and 2 promising TFr. There were obviously reasons for optimism but I doubt we pumped them up like you say we did.

Dude idk what you're watchign but stokes is far and way our #1 corner. By a lot. In no conceivable universe is he the 4th best on the team.

Fromm has gotten worse and worse at qB since the championship game vs bama 2017

And Justin Fields became a Heisman finalist after leaving UGA. Sounds like a player development problem.

Fields was going to end up a top 5 pick no matter where he went. The problem with him wasn't development.

At QB, could be. At WR, RB, OL, CB, LB, S obviously not.

J Burrow - 28-38, 349 YDS, 4 TD

Uhhh...

Also, Kyle Trask is literally ranked #3 in the SEC in both Total QBR and QBR. Kyle Trask has no run support. He was also a two-star when he committed to Florida.

I think Mullen's pretty incredible to get those numbers with a QB that isn't even a fit for his system.

Pretty incredible considering he ate Fromm's lunch this year, too.

26 more passing yards.

2 more passing touchdowns.

3 more rushing touchdowns.

7.3 better completion percentage.

Played two games less.

You said "skill players" bro which also includes QB's and RB's and at the time Felipe Frank's was your projected starting QB and Fromm was coming off a top 5 QBR and was a projected 1st Rd pick along with Swift at RB.

That secondary is gonna be suspect. I said the same thing about your WR group this year, and won a sig bet with a UGA fan over it

You think these are similar?

On the talent and experience leaving? If LeCounte and Stokes both leave?

Yes.
