And he went 3-1 in 2018 and 7-4 in 2019.

That is 10-5, not bad if you ask me.

Not bad at all, very solid actually - just saying, don't sell Wake short. They've been a solid program compared to their past recently. They weren't going 3-9 or 4-8 before Newman showed up.

In 2018 they were 4-5 with Hartman.

So, its possible they were only a 4/5 win team before Newman.

Yeah with our defense, if our offense is even slightly better we are in good shape for next year.

awesome when UGA finally come to the reality that he is just an average QB that benefitted from a stud WR in Surratt.

Can’t benefit from a stud wr if you can’t get it to them.

I mean, they'd lost to 12-1 ND, 15-0 Clemson, 10-3 Syracuse, 7-5 BC and at FSU.

Hartman looks like a solid player, no need to make it sound like he saved the program or anything though.

$100 on Lawrence
$100 on Fields

$20 on Newman
$20 on Plumlee
$20 on White

Automatically win between $140 and $1980.00

The previous qb was a 4-6 win starter, newman was a 10 win starter.

That is a huge leap and leading an offense like UGA's, that is why he is top 4 in Heisman predictions.

This is the point you are missing in my posts.

How in the hell is George Pickens even tried with j'marr? There is no comparison between the two. One is the defending belitnikoff award winner and national champion, the other is an above average player on an overrated football team. How the hell are they even talked about in the same sentence is beyond me. Chase is the best reciever in college football hands down.

1) Myles Brennan will be throwing Chase the ball, not Burrow.

2) Pickens will be an all-american.

3) 12 WINS and Sugar bowl is hardly overrated.

4) Chase wasn't the reason LSU won the championship, it was Burrow.

What? There is no way to conclude that Hartman wouldn't have gone 3-1 or 2-2 down the stretch against NCSU, Pitt, Duke and Memphis. That's silly.

I'm not missing anything - I've said roughly 30 times that Hartman seems like a solid QB who will have a bunch more weapons to work with in Athens than Winston-Salem. I responded to your argument about how amazing it was that Hartman led Wake Forest to 9 wins this season by saying

(a) They won 8 games, not 9
(b) They've won 7-8 games for 4 straight seasons

That's it

NC State was 9-4 those seasons, so yea they could have lost.
Duke was 8-5 and 7-6, so yea they could have lost.
Memphis was 8-6 and 10-3, so yea they could have lost.

While Newman was QB the last two seasons he was 10-5.
He was injured during a couple of losses and didn't play.

Yes, he is solid but he def made WF a better team and if he can go 10 wins with WF, imagine what he "could" do with UGA.

THAT's IT

Lol what in the world? This grown man named Jamie is far more likely to be Greyson Lambert 2.0 than a Heisman caliber quarterback

My post was more directed at you saying Pickens will be an AA. There is zero chance you can guarantee that.

He is probably good enough but he won’t have the stats.

Yes, they "could" have lost........What does that mean? They also could have won, that's the point. You are acting as if there is no shot they could have won those games with Hartman

Ok, so, that comes out to 8-4 in a 12 game schedule or 8.7-4.3 in a 13 game schedule including a bowl.

So, again, they went 8-5 this year. It's not a big deal, it's still solid, I'm not sure why you are fighting on this so much with these strange multi-year records.

He didn't win 10 games in a season, why do you keep saying it like he did

He's a solid QB, he'll probably do a nice job

Nothing is guaranteed, however, we are excluding injuries and suspensions in playing "what if".

Completely disagree with your line of thinking that he won't have the stats.

727 yards, 8 TD's and 15 yards per catch as a Freshman.

Chase had 313 yards, 3 TD's and 13 yards per catch as a Freshman.

Seems like Pickens has a high likelihood of becoming an AA
