f he gets one or two more quality wins (eg Cocktail Party), probably deserving of national COY.

It's going to be tough to beat out Wittingham even though Gator fatigue is long gone.

Am I happy with McElwain thus far? Yes, very pleased.

I still would like to see how he does to close out the year though. Lots of football left and good teams on the schedule. One thing is for certain, through 5 games, UF looks more competent on offense than they ever did under WM.

It's nice not being able to predict the exact play about 75% of the time isn't it.

We tried to keep him I thought it would maybe be a good idea to get out from under champ maybe even be our defensive coordinator in the future but he followed will

Everybody around here thought Foley had lost his mind after the hire. I thought that Mac would do great things at UF, but I did think the cost of the buyout was pretty steep. Looks like a pretty good deal now.

Pump the breaks, bruh. Boom looked like a nice hire for a while there too. Not trying to flame, just think its too soon to make judgments. I'd say the same thing if the guy was 2-3 as a first year HC in the SEC. 2-3 after four years though

His offense will only get better, the question is can he keep the defense at this level when the Muschamp effect wears off. For all his faults, that motherfricker could coach some defense.

Perhaps. I don't remember. Wouldn't have minded keeping him.

I assume Cowart is having second thoughts but he's probably home sick and when you combine that with losing it's natural. He'll be fine there eventually I would guess.

For the LSU fan, Gators are hopeful. Sue us for being hopeful after Muschamp. However, if you can't see the differences between the two then I don't know what to tell you. Keep your eyerolls to yourself and we'll get along fine.

Foley is kinda crazy. Doesn't drive by the rules of the road but still wins the race. A rare AD indeed.

Uhh, I had reservations about his ability and judgement when he hired Weis as OC. Will's first season was meh. Great record for the second year, but the offense was still unwatchable.

While Florida has been super impressive so far, it's been 5 games.

Defense is a lot easier to coach when you have Florida talent IMO. Our athletes help to mask defensive issues usually. The only year we've struggled this past decade was 2007, and that was more so because of lack of experience than anything.
