Weis is legally not allowed to sign a deal until he isn’t employed by Ole Miss. Our official football twitter account just tweeted that Weis is on staff for the playoffs, so Weis is still employed by Ole Miss. The offer sheet he signed is basically an MOU, meaning Weis understands the terms of the contract he is being offered but hasn’t signed

It is what it is. Kiffin leaving left chaos. Making statements to control public narrative without your ducks in a row doesn’t do much. We’ll have our press conferences and narrative driving ourselves soon enough. Lane has always been a talker. We won’t win that game with him until we have more stable ground for the podium.
