Excited to watch the matchup. If OU can keep Bama under 200 yards rushing, they have a shot. I don't think it happens, but it's always fun watching a dynamic offense test the Bama machine.

I just mean in the sense of keeping the ball out of Murray's hands.

I get that, short passes can be used as clock control same as a running game is what I meant. If Bama is able to run at will straight up the middle, and they very well might, and have Jalen throw short passes, then they will have long sustained drives, and limit Kyler's touches. I do think Kyler will have some long runs on Bama's defense and I do think OU will score more than anybody else has on Bama, but I don't think it will be enough for them to win.

All trolling aside, if OU scores 21 points on Bama I'd be absolutely stunned. OU hasn't seen a front four even close to Bama this year. Not even once. Bama could start all of their backup DL in this game and the statement would still hold true

What are you talking about? Bamas D this year is good, but they are not as complete or deep as the past three years. It's their offense that makes them so tough this year.

Arkansas scored 31 on Bama. UGA, which isn't known as a prolific offense this year, scored 28 on Bama and should have scored more.

These are the kind of takes that make SEC fans look silly... OU has all of the elements that give Saban D's fits... Mobile QB that can pass with a dynamic OC. OU likely won't win, but this will be their toughest opening playoff game since they faced off against Ohio State.

I’ve seen our offense come out flat and out of rhythm before. Oklahoma is a scary team with that offense. I don’t want Murray hurt but I think if Bama is going to hold him in check he needs to get hit hard enough that he starts to hesitate or look to go down if he gets pressure. Their OL has done a very good job this year but I don’t know what kind of DL talent they have faced to be honest. Their offense plays with a lot of confidence. I think after last game Tua has lost some confidence. Thankfully it looks like Jalen has it in spades right now.

Prepare to be stunned. I'd be shocked if OU scores under 35. They'll get theirs and Murray will get his. They just have no shot at doing anything remotely close to stopping Alabama's offense.

That is a lie. You had some pretty good players on D last time. That Striker kid was everywhere.

Saying we'll hold Oklahoma under 21 is silly and will not happen, but UGA has an elite, balanced offense and that isnt really debatable.

5th in YPP, 3rd in S&P+

We'll see. I'm not sure it's any different in the end than Clemson last year, except their bad side of the ball is much worse than Clemsons was.

We will deal with you after we deal with this bunch. If ND doesn't get you first.

You learned NOTHING in your one trip into the SEC West where your ACC officials saved you. You won't have them with you this time.

A better offense than UGA. What's your point? I was responding to a point about UGA's offense not being prolific.

The only good player we had on that defense was Aaron Colvin.

Striker was good at doing one thing and one thing only.

I thought you were going to make a silly claim that OU's offense isn't balanced. I read that all the time on here about our league.

As goes Oklahoma, so goes the league. There aren't any real air-raid teams left in the league.

Half your league isnt even Top 50 efficiency offensively.

The only elite offenses in the league are Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and West Virginia per every set of advanced stats.

Like I said, your league ain't Oklahoma, just like our league ain't Alabama.
