The only elite offenses in the league are Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and West Virginia

Been that way for a few years now.

Saying we'll hold Oklahoma under 21 is silly and will not happen, but UGA has an elite, balanced offense and that isnt really debatable.

UGA is balanced... Very hard to stop. I wouldn't call them explosive by any stretch. Fromm had the best game of his career against y'all. If Fromm is on, they are a Top 2-3 team.

And if you think our offense last year is anywhere close to OUs this year, you haven't spent much time watching either program. They have the QB to give you fits... We did not.

You learned NOTHING in your one trip into the SEC West where your ACC officials saved you. You won't have them with you this time.

Get over yourself antibarner... I have not said once that I expect to win if we face Bama with Tua. It's a bad matchup for our D, who struggles with safety coverage of elite WRs.

I thought UGA had the best chance of their next three games of stopping Bama because of their OL and weapons like Nata/WR group in combination with strong coverage skills from guys like Baker. And UGA game plans Bama better than anyone else.

No, the opposite. Clemson had an elite defense like Oklahoma has an elite offense (not quite as good as OU's offense). Clemsons offense was meh, Oklahomas defense is worse than meh (not as good as Clemson's offense).

I give ND a realistic chance for two reasons. One, the A&M game. Clemson has NOT been tested at all except in that game and it was a struggle.

Two. The QB is excellent but again, he has NOT been tested in a big game like this.

The Tigers have had it easy. The party's over.

Sorry I didn't catch the comparison... That is fair, but I would argue I haven't seen anyone beat Bama in the playoffs without an explosive offense.

When A&M beat Bama several years ago their D was mediocre.

The two defenses were just as big of a mismatch last time, and so were the offenses and special teams

How about the give a frick factor? Is it the same?

ND has a realistic chance, but imo it's a bad matchup for them. Clemson can take away the run, and ND needs to find success running the ball. Also their secondary can be attacked. I expect a 28-31 type of game.

Ok will face two QB's who are going to be the healthiest they have been since the UT game. Pretty sure here will be a lot of RPO's with a heavy emphasis on runs. If Army can hold you guys down I am confident Bama can too.

Dude, no one but Oklahoma fans gave them much of a shot against USC and no one was surprised to see by what happened. They also did not match up well on either side of the ball

OU is a very worthy opponent with the best player in college football. It will be tough as it should be in the playoffs. Bama is very excited to have this opportunity.

The Orange Bowl, with OU's history there, makes it even more compelling. Anytime Bama lines up against OU, Texas, USC, Notre Dame or Ohio State, you get our full attention.

The only comparisons are really post-2012 when we made our shift definsively.

Clemson and Ole Miss are the obvious comparisons, but both those teams were solid defensively (not elite, but solid with NFL players across the board). No team with a total sieve defense has beaten us, and this offensive team we have is better than previous versions. However, this Oklahoma's offense may be the best weve ever seen.

So it'll be something.
