how did BYU stay in top 25

OU plays 7 of top 25 and 9 of top 32

FSU beats Bama by two TDs, and is ranked only one spot above them.
that seems more logical than putting them in the top 10 like some want to do. If you put them high in the polls, why would you drop Alabama into the 20s for losing to a top 10 team on the road in week 1? The only way you can really justify a 12 spot drop for a 14 point loss on the road is to rank FSU as good not great or worse.

I wish these were not anonymous. I’d love to see what coaches ranked their own team.

I think Florida is 8 of top 25. Both some very difficult schedules.

I don't understand the love for Penn State.

So a win at Baylor doesn't move us at all in the Coaches Poll. Makes sense.
We actually lost 9 votes.

I don’t understand the South Carolina love. They might end up looking good this year but they struggled mightily against a dog shite VT team. If the VT QB could have hit wide open receivers they would have won the game.

Bama too high
And Florida State too low. Asinine that the coaches only have them 1 spot above Bama. It all evens out in about a month but a perfect example of why preseason polls are BS.
As is Texas starting at #1 for that matter! :)

We have won 7 of our last 8 games. Have a Heisman candidate, a stout defense that didnt give up a TD to a P4 team (a team I do think will win 8 games).
The same folks hating on SC, are in love with Auburn who won by about the same margin against a comparable team in Baylor.

…I mean… yeah, dude. Get used to it. That’s just the next Saturday here.
Except for TU. They get handled with kiddy gloves and gift wrapped the easiest SEC schedule in history for their first two years… and then crow about how they own the SEC… imbeciles.
