How big was the Lsu win for Bama in the computers? Each computer poll is listed, same poll in same order: Last Week 3 3 1 2 3 7 3 This week 1 3 1 2 1 1 1

That's what we're here for.

Our big 2 are better than your big 3. aTm could possibly win some games in there as well.

Nah, West>East still. Plus the bottom of the East is HORRIBLE

As are Arizona and ASU.

we close out the year with them in Tallyban

I live in Tallyban and this would be GREAT. FSU fans are fricking delusional. They lose to NC St and still think they can play with the big boys. We'll see.

P.S. Do not fricking shite the bed in Tallyban. I'll never hear the end of it.

It's going to happen. Outside of Clemson, we're the only decent team they play this year. They prepared all year for that game.

A&M should be 10-12. I know why we are ranked where we are, but still...there are few defenses that can slow us down. Sadly for us they all live in the SEC

No they still have two losses. Just because they took Bama to the wire does not mean they are #2. They are still teams that are undefeated.

Oregon is beating these teams by 50. ND is getting taken to OT. Can you really not see the difference??

I can't believe it is November and Florida is ranked #6 in the country with an outside shot at a national title appearance.

It's so ridiculous how far the coaching has taken this team.

All that would have to happen:
Bama over UGA
KSU loses to Texas or Baylor
ND loses to USC
Oregon loses to Oregon State or Stanford

Florida beats FSU, and sits quietly at #4-5 while all this happens.

Would be hilarious.

And we've seen what Oregon's offense can do against quality defenses. Notre Dame is 2nd in the country in points allowed.

Wait, so Notre Dame's opponents have better records than Oregon's opponents, BUT Oregon's opponents are better than Notre Dame's?

Just combining W-L of overall schedules is over simplifying almost to the point of nonsense.

An hypothetical schedule that has 5 games against Top 20 teams and 7 games against 0-12 teams is probably harder to navigate undefeated than one with 12 games against 7-5 teams. However, the one with all 7-5 teams would look twice as strong if you simply combined WL of all opponents.

This isn't about ND and Oregon (who'll have fairly equal schedules once Oregon finishes theirs) but just that I don't understand what point simply combining opponents' records makes.

Oregon has played Tennessee Tech, Arkansas State, and Fresno State. Notre Dame's schedule does not have a single cupcake on there.

I agree that Oregon could have just as good a schedule by the end of the season. All I am saying is, as of now, Notre Dame deserves the #2 spot.

Just based on schedule, I agree that Notre Dame's is probably a bit tougher so far and the computers agree.

I would add though that Fresno St is probably a lot better than Pitt, Purdue, Navy etc but see your point about the other 2 teams you mentions .

However, voters, of course, are also considering not just W-L like the BCS computers supposedly do, but how the teams actually perform against those schedules. Right or wrong, that Oregon has been an elite program for years now also has a lot to do with it as well.

Notre Dame has played very well, allowing only 11.7 points per game, and we all know defense wins Titles.

Of course. There is no disputing this.

Notre Dame deserves a higher ranking than KSU and Oregon. They have paid their dues thus far this season.

Not sure if serious? Taking a barely top 25 team and a non ranked team into OT is way behind an Oregon team who has blown out everyone they have played.

No freaking way we lose to the clown school, we have three weeks to prepare.
This season has been icing, and sugar is what makes icing.
