I would love for that to happen. Them dropping a conf champ game, and saying they wouldn't go to 12 teams because they don't want to play one as a whole.. then taking 2 byes in a season so they can play their final games on Championship weekends, just to try to sway votes... it'd serve that conf right.

Notre Dame deserves a higher ranking than KSU and Oregon. They have paid their dues thus far this season.

And Oregon and Kansas State haven't? Notre Dame has struggled to beat some mediocre and bad football teams at home. And not just once. Purdue, BYU, Pitt...those were some really ugly wins. Yeah, I know a win is a win, but two of those have losing records and BYU is only 5-4.

Crompdaddy8 I love the pic...the hound and the young boy is classic.

UF is # 6 as expected...what I didnt expect was Louisville to jump the girls school...but as long as they stay in top ten Im ok...we close out the year with them in Tallyban....need another bump after that game

UGA beats AU...then gets curbstomped by Bama, that makes us # 5...then we need help from the football Gods...Nueter Dame is sooo over rated, nearly losing to Pitt the team that lost to Youngstown State for Gods sake....they pulled a lucky charm out of their butt. Anything can happen and you never say never.

but to the person that says ND should be higher is full of crock..they have taken the average teams to OT to win at least twice this year.

Get real. Notre Dame's opponents thus far are a combined 47-34. Oregon's are a combined 39-43.

Have you seen Oregon's schedule? Tennessee Tech? Arkansas State? Fresno State?

Look at Notre Dame's schedule. It is by far superior. Not to mention they are 2nd in the nation in points allowed.

That may be their combined records, but it doesn't change the fact that Purdue, BYU, and Pitt all suck, and it was all ND could do to win those games at home.

Wait, so Notre Dame's opponents have better records than Oregon's opponents, BUT Oregon's opponents are better than Notre Dame's?

Gotta love Gump Logic.

To who? Their toughest game they have left is vs the sips, and Coach Snyder owns them. I don't see KSU losing before bowl season.

We'll see about that
