At least we have a few decent matchups to open the season this year.

I've been hearing that this may be a Fox Sports or FX game (Big 12) and will be played at night.

I would prefer to see OM and VU than Bama destroying VT.

you seriously think a top 5 team with the reigning Heisman winner playing an FBS opponent will not be on tv

and btw, Rice would be furious if this game missed tv. One reason they have been agreeing to games like this (and ND next year) is the opportunity to play to a national audience

Gurley will have 250 yards rushing

Tahj Boyd will have 400 yards passing

should be a shootout but I think the mutts win

Toledo vs. Florida will actually be a decent game i think. SEC network all the way though.

Watkins and Boyd won't be able to keep pace with our offense. I think the young defense struggles, but holds serve just enough to get the W. Thinking UGA-USCe 2009

These are actually some "decent" opening weekend games that will unfortunately get overshadowed by some of the other good matchups on opening weekend. By no means are these blockbuster matchups, but they are 100x more intriguing matchups than the typical SEC-IdahoSt/NorthTx game

seems like too big of a mismatch to be worth a national game. something more regional to cover Texas would be expected I'd think

SEC doesnt have a contract with FSW...they have it with FSS.

I think an game that will be very entertaining will be UK/WKU.

If OSU is the home team, that def may happen.

If MSU is, then there are contract issues and FX and or Fox will show a PAc 12 game.
