Texas vs Texas St has to be in strong consideration followed by Bama vs East Carolina. That's it. That's the two games in contention.

You aren't concerned that Dabo might run up the score on Lane ?

My biggest concern about that game is Dabo calling the NCAA at halftime accusing Lane of talking to his players. Dabo did get LSU's starting safety suspended for the first half of the 2025 game.

2026 SEC Schedule

My answer of course is going to be Kentucky v Youngstown St. We've got a whole new staff and half a new damn roster to boot. I don't care if it's going to be a 70-7 rawdogging, that's my #1 by far.

Louisville v Ole Miss would be non-Kentucky answer, for obvious reasons.

Nationally, Clemson v LSU will be getting the pub and attention, though I expect LSU to win that by a decent margin.

Baylor v Auburn is the only other game left on the schedule worth a damn. I'll watch it if it doesn't conflict with the kick off times from those other games.

Baylor against Auburn in Atlanta is the most interesting matchup as I think LSU will handle Clemson with no problem. Curious to see if Baylor can get Lagway where he can at least read a defense a little bit.

Are the "horns" playing Texas State? That's a compelling match up. Care to give us a breakdown of your view of that?

Not as great of a lineups as 2025.

Louisville vs Ole Miss (Nashville) should be a ranked matchup.

Clemson at LSU could be good. A top 10 matchup last year in week 1, but both teams ended up going 7-6. Will be the first look of Lane at LSU.

Baylor vs Auburn (Atlanta). A P4 matchup. First look at the Golesh era at Auburn.

Colorado at G Tech. Another P4 matchup, not many for Week 1 this year.

Mizzou opens at home vs The Golden Lions of Arkansas Pine Bluff Sept 5

Then it's a trip to vile Lawrence Jayhawkerville Kansas. ( I hope my care doesn't get stolen) This is THE GAME for me.

How’s Kentucky projected to look in baseball this year? Not being a smarta**, just genuinely asking.

You think Kentucky might win their opener 70-7 with Joe Sloan as their offensive coordinator? Lol

Aren't you concerned about your own Wk1 juggernaut match up against Arky Pine Bluff?
