UGA isn't that good yet, but I'm not sure who I would rank over us at this point either.

This is why I hate early season polls. No consistency, and still clinging to offseason perceptions.

Like with the Coach's poll, it's ridiculous how far Tennessee dropped while struggling with a good G5 team while Michigan State and TCU basically stayed the same (only TCU dropped 2 spots) for struggling with mediocre FCS teams. I would expect voters to be able to put games in the same context, because it seems like Tenn being on Thursday hurt them while voters didn't see much of Michigan State or TCU playing and barely moved them. This proves to me how worthless the AP poll really is.

Breaking news: Pollsters don't watch most of the games
They just see oh, Wisconsin and Texas beat Top 10 teams, they must be good

Wisconsin at 10? Texas at 11? Holy overreaction

What do you mean by that? I actually think they're doing a much better job of not clinging to offseason perceptions.

So don't read them.

Normally, We don't have so many Top 25 teams lose(or look like dogshit) opening weekend.
Also, a lot of the teams below them didn't play anyone with a pulse.
