We’re a weird team right now.
14-1 but with some close wins over questionable competition but then they’re only close because we are averaging 1 really bad inning a game (often the 1st or 2nd) with 7-8 other mostly clean innings and some pretty steadily good offense.
Our schedule has also been odd as we spent the first 5 games on the road and we’ve played the last 8 games in 7 days.
Which is the long way of saying I hve no idea what ti expect out of this squad come conference play. We could be world beaters, we could also crumble. Wouldn’t surprise me either way.

GA ST runner slides hard into 2nd for the 2nd time today. Kolby Branch takes exception for the 2nd time today.
Next play Alton Davis fields a dribbler and stares down the GA ST dugout as he runs to tag first
GA ST dugout and coach asking for an ejection, GA St plunks Zabo in the first AB of the next inning. It was a breaking ball so may not have been intentional but UGA didn’t like it.
Umps probably could’ve ejected 2-3 players and a coach at this point, but it’s clear they just want to go home, as the strike zone has significantly widened in a game on track to last 4.5 hours

Freaking unbelievable
State was losing 47-36 to Mizzou
Scored 31 straight points to lead 67-47.
Before Mizzou finally scored.
Missouri actually led 46-32 at one point.
So that was a 35-1 run.
That is just hard to believe.
