We will see just how good of a coach Jimbo is.

When you start landing these types of classes it opens up a whole new can of worms.
If the rumors are true that they basically paid for that class then the diva attitudes will start to mount.
Then you gotta deal with guys who are five stars not playing till their sophomore/junior years.
It’s going to be interesting to see, and I welcome more competition to the SEC. Soon you will have the talent of UGA and Bama.

Couple of comments about Fisher and his philosophy on offense. I do like the balanced attack. I don’t think the offense is very imaginative for the most part… he relies on execution.
For an offense that needs to be balanced to really work, the drop off on the oline this year was just not acceptable. A middle of the road SEC offensive line this year would have made a big difference… did not need to be elite. It was plain shitty. If Fisher wants to be balanced then the offensive line issues cannot be repeated at Texas A&M.
Just a fan but I would like to see an innovative OC come in and take over offense. It doesn’t need to be chaotic like Kiffin or Leach offenses. Ags sorely lacking on misdirection, forcing bad one on one matchups, consistent deep ball threats, etc….
No excuses for talent or depth… those days are behind him. Time to get it done consistently on the field.

Eh I don't consider Les Miles a very good Coach but he was very successful here based on the talent level.

No trolling, just stating facts. This is a train wreck in the making, worse than how Jimbo left FSU. The Aggie “honor” code is about to be decimated. Sold your soul boys. Jimbo gonna leave smoldering ruins and nothing to show for it.

“If the rumors are true that they basically paid for this class…”
Baw, everyone is paying for their recruiting classes through NIL as it is legal. Care to recall how much Bryce Young made this past year? All of the hysteria over A&M’s class is quite comical.

Has Woodward hired Jimbo yet?

LSU fans are in a really bad place right now.

Do you guys ever think Jimbo would turn the offense over to an OC? It seems like that offense, is his baby and he's riding with it.
I don't know really know enough about him to guess on whether he'd hand the reins over.

They will have learned what a mistake they made in hiring. Yes, the honor system will be trashed, if it isn’t already. It will take years and years to repair.

Which is exactly what he had in Tallahassee. Odd, you haven't seen this pony show before.

Recruiting, Development and Culture. The elite teams are good at all 3. As of now I think he’s elite at recruiting and competent at the other two. We will see within the next 3 years if he is elite at developing players and establishing a culture because now the talent is there.
However in this league, just to be elite at recruiting is a huge first step. No coach can out coach talent. When you have elite level players you start the game head and shoulders above your opponent and it’s yours to lose at that point. There are plenty of coaches that can develop players and establish a winning culture that are out of a job in 4 years because they don’t have the talent to compete.

I don’t think he will do it willingly. So probably never. Fisher wasn’t my first or second choice for coach. Just giving opinion based on him as our HC. If we have a very good to great oline his offense will work all day.

People outside of LSU and Texas fans actually believe this?

I'm sure they paid for alot of it. I don't think you can get a top 25 without paying something.
I'm not mad at aTm. It's part of the rules and they are using it to their advantage, I don't believe the 25-30 million number that was on here though.

Ask any media person in the state of Florida how good he is and you will get an ear full.

The offense worked enough for a 9-1 record and top 4 finish last year with Mond at QB.
Managing the divas is the real challenge

That record was achieved against the easiest schedule in the SEC in '20.

I seriously doubt that, but I’ll give you that LSU was the easiest opponent in ‘20.
