We have the big 6 for football, but of those teams, who is in the big 3? (All-Time)

Yes I know, generic offseason thread.
In my opinion:
Alabama
LSU
Florida

It’s the big one and the medium 5. Don’t kid yourself.

Alabama, LSU, and Georgia.

Next two would be Auburn and Florida.

I guess if we are talking all-time, then yes, I will go UF over UGA. But if we are talking right now (OP did not clarify which), I'm sticking with UGA. They've been to 3 straight SECCG, have been to the NCG, and have been more of a contender for the playoffs.

I would imagine this thread would be referring to recent history. But, where is the cut off? 5 years? 10 years? 20?

I would go

Bama
LSU
Florida

UGA needs a more recent national title to move up

Recently?
There is no big 6 or big 3.

There is the big 1: Alabama.

Then there is the challenger LSU.

Florida and Georgia are irrelevant w.r.t the national championship scene.

A Miss St fan saying this? What would you know about national relevance?

Lol. Uf has 3 titles to our 2. And we have the advantage in pretty much any other historical metric of significance.

Yes because I watch sports?

Has Florida been in the discussion for national championships recently?
No.

In fact, the last time Florida went to Atlanta their own fans didn't even show up or believe in their team.

You can hate on Miss State all you want, but at the end of the day we're both rooting for our teams to have a good season and hopefully get a fun bowl matchup. So frick off your high horse.

It’s more like a clear top two with Bama and LSU. Then the other three. Tennessee doesn’t belong in this group anymore. Georgia barely still belongs

Having a 4-7 Season this century doesn’t help.

Alabama has been varying forms of relevant on the national stage since the 20's.

Georgia and LSU since the 40's.

Then Auburn.

Being totally honest, Florida football wasn't really relevant, aside from the Spurrier Heisman years, since the 80's. They're in the same boat as all the Florida schools. Incredible success over a short (historically speaking) period of time, but little beyond that.

Two, seriously?

Are you claiming 1942 from which UGA was crowned as champion retrospectively and from the irrelevant listed below?

Berryman, Billingsley, DeVold, Houlgate, Litkenhous, Poling, Sagarin, Sagarin (ELO-Chess), Williamson

If so, I'm embarrassed for you.
