Let's just say my prediction will have the Longhorn locals all over me, so I'll keep it quiet.

On the whole, Texas is a better team than we have shown for the last 2 nights, so we're due for a cleaner game.

Otoh, Tech is a one-trick pony. It's a good trick, but they finished #12 for a reason.

Sir you are driving on the worldwide web, so you are welcome to give your opinions any time you like, regardless of your locale. Don't hold back now.

Tech looks better this series and would likely already be champs if not for a poor intentional walk. Texas could use a hot start for once.

If it rains out they can always be Co-Champs like the SEC tourney. I can't believe they didn't play that game.

True, but the call at 2nd was just as freaky as the failed walk. The fact that Texas (through talent - not umpiring) was able to overcome the BS in game one was only the world making itself right.

I was trying to think of a better example of a school buying its way to a national championship if Texas Tech wins. Can anyone think of one?

In today's NIL, you are more likely to see this at smaller schools. The bigger schools can buy a whole roster.

I think there have been a lot of teams that have bought national championships over the years, it is just getting way more expensive now, and you can do it out in the open.

Yeah, just the buying of one player at such a big number seems unprecedented. And softball is a sport where all you have to buy is one dominant pitcher like Texas Tech has done.

I'm sure Texas Tech had that all figured out. And sadly it's true. The rest of their team is slightly above meh.

Tech has Sandy Koufax on the mound and you can’t beat that. She starts every game

Tech probably wins this one. Texas has committed too many errors, and softball is the one sport where one player can be an X factor and carry an entire team

Texas is sadly becoming the buffalo bills of softball

Hold on there Jim Kelly. Texas didn't make it this far by playing like we have the last couple of nights. The damn could break.

If Texas can’t do it this year they won’t for a long time . I thought how great it was for Reese to make something happen in game 1 that’s what champions do…. Then to come out in game 3 have 3 errors and just walk in runs isn’t championship material. We’ll see what happens 2 runs should be enough for either team to win.
