Seriously, what the hell happened to Fromm?. He regressed instead of improving

He benefited tremendously from the skilled players we had around him his first 2 years as a starter. He’s a good game manager but when you put the game on his shoulders he folds like a lawn chair. We had back to back seasons of having two tailbacks each run for 1,000 yards and 3-5 receivers who were drafted. Without them he proved to be a very, very average game manager who will not ever be a game changer.

For the SECCG?

Fromm didn't regress. He was just without his weapons.

Didn't have our best tailback - Swift.
Swift was also our best receiving target out of the backfield for Fromm.

Didn't have our best receiver in Cager.
Fromm actually had very good efficiency numbers when Cager was out on the field. The efficiency numbers were very poor when Cager wasn't on the field.

Didn't have our second best receiver for the first half. Pickens suspended due to the GT game.

Didn't have our third best receiver Blaylock (tore his ACL in the first half).

That's 4 receiving targets that Fromm didn't have (he also lost his top 3 WRs and top TE from 2018 to the NFL early entry draft and 4th top WR was kicked out of school in the offseason).

There was no better feeling than to see the red flooding out of the stadium

Especially with all the barking and talking going on about the UGA defense

This win in Atlanta was glorious

What’s really scary is we are going to be even better this year.

That game was over on our first drive when Robertson dropped a TD on the first play and then Fromm underthrew one on the third play. We needed to hit a few plays like that and it just wasn't going to happen. LSU was a great team. I actually thought our defense kept us alive as long as they could. The scoreboard didn't show it but I thought the D played a solid game.

The other takeaway from this is how fricking fast the big GA lineman is

More of the offense was put on his shoulders and he couldn't handle it. I also read an article on The Athletic that hinted at Fromm feeling a lot of heat by how well Fields played for Ohio State.

Have to give LSU props - they went through one of the most disciplined & talented UGA defenses I've seen like a knife through warm butter.

I knew we were fricked when Simmons dropped that play-action bomb on our first offensive series. Fromm pretty much went back into his hole after that one.

You do realize half our stars were out and our WR corp was decimated. No Deandre Swift, no George Pickens

The only reason we held on until the 3rd qtr was because of the defense.

Why does Joe need to throw 70 yards, when his receiver caught the ball in full stride in 50 yards? Overthrowing receivers isn’t a good strategy. Joe put it exactly where it needed to be, when it needed to be there.
