Big 12 wins best location. Brick town in OKC is the perfect set up.

To be fair, can’t really use Attendance as a rationale this year. COVID f’d that all up.
Also I believe the SEC is committed to enhancing it and developing it further. Remember something about that being discussed two? years ago.

Let's bring up the states located in the SEC that shouldn't get the SEC Tournament based on lack of support, geographically inconvenient, potential BLM disruption and/or inadequate facilities (for both players and fans). They would be eliminated from any consideration and not needed for further discussion in the rant until the end of time, unless some miracle happens.
-Arkansas - Little Rock (Small metro and stadium)
-Kentucky - Louisville (ACC territory)
-Mississippi - Jackson (BLM). Gulf coast minor league stadium would be nice next to all the casinos.
-Missouri - Too far
Now these are the states that should be considered for hosting the tournament, with the understanding that some may have challenges with the "geographically convenient" factor.
-Alabama
-Florida
-Georgia
-Louisiana
-Tennessee
-Texas
-Alabama only has the city of Birmingham to offer. Working so far, but, it's Birmingham.
-Florida has the Tampa/Clearwater and Orlando metro areas, but both would be a long arse drive for many fans from both Eastern and Western Divisions. Pensacola has a nice AA stadium on the water, but the city and stadium are too small.
-Georgia has metro Atlanta. The AAA stadium (Coolray Stadium) is in the suburb of Buford, which is far from shitty BLM friendly Atlanta (35 miles).
-Louisiana has a minor league stadium in Metairie, which is not located too close to BLM cesspool New Orleans. This option should be low on the hierarchy of the eligible states.
-Tennessee has several nice minor league stadiums, and Nashville and Memphis are the only 2 options. Memphis is New Orleans 'light' when it comes to potential disruption by BLM thugs. Chattanooga has a very nice stadium located in a city that would great for the SEC baseball tournament, but their AA stadium isn't large enough.
-Texas probably has the best cities to host (Dallas, San Antonio and Houston(ideal)), but would suck geographically for most SEC East fans outside of Missouri, which should really be in the SEC West.
Several of the stadium's capacity tops out in the 10,000 range, which may not be adequate. Anything else to consider?

Should rotate. There are some super solid ballparks inside the SEC footprint. Hell Mississippi even has 2 good minor league facilities.

Louisville Slugger Field is a beautiful AAA stadium with fixed seating for 14,000 and even more non permanent seating. The city of Louisville is more SEC territory than ACC, there are more UK fans there than UL fans.

Madison/Huntsville or Mobile Bay areas would both exceed B'ham in terms of locations in AL. But, both would need investment in location for the venue.
Joe Davis Stadium renovations in Huntsville could have been a good choice, but any venue near the beaches between Destin to Mobile would be most ideal (to include Penscacola as you mentioned), but there would need to be investment for the stadiums available.

I love Louisville and the LS Stadium is really nice.

Thanks for the clarification. To be honest, I would have never thought of Louisville being SEC territory. I looked at the map and it's quite far up north for a convenient location to host the SEC baseball tournament.

I would prefer Mobile over Huntsville. Neither have the facilities right now. I was referencing ideal locations with available facilities as opposed to potential locations. Yes, the tournament on the gulf coast would be great for baseball.

I disagree, it is a good thing that the other SEC baseball fans have to risk it in Dangerous Hoover.

Bring it to Sugar Land or Round Rock. I’m sure there is an Applebee’s close by for you Ricky Bobby MFers to hang out at.

Wrong! I'm at the pool watching the kids here in Destin, FL when I typed those thoughts. You must've been triggered by something I wrote.

There are dozens of minor league stadiums in the SE capable of hosting.
