I think Alabama fans are crowning themselves national champions a bit early in my opinion.

Georgia game was not the championship. Tougher games are ahead.

Georgia is NOT what they were in previous championship years. Not even close.

In 2021, we weren’t championship quality until we were. Teams grow and develop as the year moves along. Will we? I got no idea. Can we, sure we can.

Is Texas or Bama? Maybe, but they’ll have to improve as well.

It didn't matter one bit. That game was hardly in question even with the biggest comeback in Georgia's history.

You're completely wrong here and it's laughable that you think this way. I'm not sure if you just started watching football after Saban got to Bama, but there's scores of historical games you can watch around the conference that can give you the true feeling of football heartbreak.

Georgia simply ran out of time.

And honestly I don't have a dog in the hunt. I was actually pulling for Bama since I'm getting a little tired of Georgia attitudes. It was good to bring them down to earth. But I'd temper my expectations a little bit.

Whatever reason it did, I don’t know but you lost a 28 point lead and damn near lost the game.

Its kind of amazing what a good team can do when their back is squarely up against the wall, and they start using all 4 downs no matter what, and throw down field on most of those downs. Add that to a really good defense that tightened up enough to allow the offense to take advantage of that scenario, and you saw what happened.

It wasn't a fluke-Georgia scratched and clawed their way back. Beck snapped out of it and was throwing absolute perfect lasers to convert 4th downs in a pressure-cooker environment. The D didn't lose their composure, and remained sound, and did their job for most of the second half. They damn near pulled off one of the most amazing comebacks in sports history. Saban said at halftime that Bama couldn't coast through the second half because Georgia is a program that knows how to win, and he was 100% right. Programs like Georgia, and Alabama simply don't give up, don't pout, or dwell on the previous play. They keep their heads down and focus on the task at hand.

This team keeps playing really shitty first halves of football. They did it in all 3 real games this year. Bama is simply too talented to expect to win if you do that. That said, lots of improbable things occured in the game this past Saturday for both teams. They were the result of talent and hard work, but improbable none the less. I bet both coaches know this and hope to not rely on things like that in future games. Bama is a much better team right now. That showed in the first half and when crunch time came in the game.

Nope. Sure wasn't.

Hmm.

I guess there's no such thing as a close game in your eyes.

Everyone who's being honest with themselves would view any game where a defense has to make a stop in the red zone in the final seconds to win as being close.

Most people would view any game where their opponent had possession with of the ball in the final minute where a score would tie or win the game as being close.

I'd wager the majority view any game where the final margin is a single score as being pretty close.

Same goes for a game where one team has to score with less than 3 minutes left to take the lead.

But you do you I guess. I guess it has to be a missed FG to tie or win to qualify for you rather than a missed 20 yard pass to the end zone?

Unfortunately, we had to do some traveling to Tennessee from Colorado on Saturday due to family emergency.

See? ......See you were in the finals to be a mod AGAIN, and you post this.

Usually you exhibit remarkable modesty and decorum.

Strive to do better, I'll keep you on my watch list.
