Unfortunately, we had to do some traveling to Tennessee from Colorado on Saturday due to family emergency.

I know myself and don't check game scores while I'm in transit. Anyways, at about 13 minutes left in the 4th Quarter, I finally pulled into O'Fallon, IL for the night and checked the score.

33-15. But by the time I got the room and brought in all the luggage from the parking lot it was 34-33. I was like wtf. Then a few mintues later, game over, Bama wins 41-34. That night I trolled a tiny bit on the SECSB but left it at that and watched some extended highlights. They were not in any way representative of what really transpired.

Finally tonight near Knoxville TN at some of our family's home, I got to watch the entire game. Georgia was solidly beat.

The game was not really as close as I'd been led to believe. Was a great attempt at a comeback by Georgia but tbh, the game was not really in question. You could tell the last drive, Georgia's offense was actually gassed even more than Bama's defense.

Anyways, nice game. Hats off to Kirby who is honestly the classiest guy in the game right now. He'll win a few more NC's before he retires and deservedly so.

But I have to say this: a re-match actually favors Bama. I know it sucks but that's just the way it is.

If Bama plays like they did 2 nights ago, no team in the country has a serious chance of beating them. I'm impressed. I did not expect that DeBoer would have them playing like this that quickly.

In many ways this squad reminds me of 92, 09, 15, 20 Bama. They're young, brash and savage and they do not give a frick. Seriously, Bama will frick everyone this year.

ETA: if you're downvoting this, it's because you know I'm right and it hurts.

Georgia went next level in the fourth quarter. This makes three games in a row vs us where they scored the bulk of their points in the fourth. Luckily it only cost us one of the three games.

It didn't matter one bit. That game was hardly in question even with the biggest comeback in Georgia's history.

No, it was much closer than you say.. We were down in the fourth, albeit for just a few minutes, but Ga could have just as easy won that game as Bama.
Watching it in real time vs watching it on replay when you know who wins, is much different. There were a lot of worried Bama fans deep into the 4th. Glad we were able to pull it out in the end.

UGA had the ball, 20 yards away from sending the game to OT with a first down and time to run 4 plays or even more if they get a first down and get out of bounds.

But it wasn't close?

Not sure how to counter a delusion like that. It wasn't like UGA had just scored and needed an onside kick to get the ball back. They were literally in the red zone with a 1st and 10 and 43 seconds to work with after already having driven the ball 55 yards down the field.

Bama's defense made the play with the pick and won the game and deserved the win, but trying to say "We had it in the bag all along" is a really stupid thing to throw out there.

Props on a great 1st half. I was impressed. But to say the game was never in question… LOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!!!! Dumbass fan in a dumbass fanbase

You won’t have a 28-0 cushion every time DeBoer SHITS THE BED in the 4th and he shite THE BED

You were also up only 1 point at home vs USF after 3 quarters. It was an overreaction to say you were that bad then just like it's an overreaction to say you are that good now.

Congrats on a big win in an exciting game just be weary of drawing conjectures on small sample sizes.

Nope. Not one bit. Of course, remember I couldn't watch the game when it was on.

Anyways, there was no way Georgia was going to win that game. They simply could not stop Milroe and RW and Justice and Jam.

Not really. They got a couple of very lucky passes. 8/10 those get picked. Just a very lucky 4th Quarter (they weren't even impressive one bit in the 3rd Q) for Georgia made it seem like it was such a thriller.

Go back and watch, you'll see I'm right about it.

I'm downvoting you because I don't need to know your travel plans or why you missed the game.
